so much fun. this place is part of the culture now. actualy sit by the pool and have something to eat. Where else can you do that. Actualy have something to eat and jump back in the pool. Down side food is a little pricey.

Since Parkwood leisure have taken over this place from Portsmouth city council tis place has completely gone down hill. The changing rooms need cleaning and are not cleaned very often. you used to be able to pay and stay in all day. public swimming is now only during certain times and only for 2 hours or so. I do not visit here anymore due to this.

Good value for money. Clean and tidy. Could do with more family size changing rooms

We visited the pyramid centre last weekend as a family, the pool is a very a good attraction. The site was let down by the changing rooms/ locker area. They were a complete mess, dirt/ mud everywhere and was blood on the floor in the female area my partner told me, we informed the reception on our departure but during the whole time we was in the changing room area on arrival and departure which must have been around an hour in total we did not see one member of staff pass through the area! There's more than enough staff with even the lifeguards standing in 2's/3's but the housekeeping seems lapse and from our visit a serious health risk/ concern.

I went with my two nephews and partner. I went as an observer. Cheap and adequate swimming time given. Plenty of space by poolside to watch your kids/family. It is more of a kids pool rather than adults-not much room to swim.
Waves were quite strong but lifeguards were on high alert when they were active, when waves were not active, the lifeguards were very good at ensuring safety with the children.
Changing area was clean. There is a body drier that wasn't very forceful.

Has the potential to have great features but on my last 3 visits the 'snake' water flume has not been open - despite the last visit being a bank holiday weekend as well. The toddler pool also always has lots grit at the bottom of it.

Very large complex, with good swimming pools and soft play. Kids love it here, lots to do. Just needs a bit of updating.

I went to the pyramids centre with my daughter last week, the play pools were lovely and warm. Has a good variety of pools to switch between and the food area by the pool is amazing.

The pools are great, but there's an odd temperature difference between the main and the teaching pool that makes the teaching pool much cooler than the main pool. There are too few family changing rooms meaning that there are always queues for them, and they are often far from clean. Also, the straps for the baby holders are all broken. They hold daily terrible tattoo conventions in the pool areas.
