My last puppy class for a little while!
Starts Saturday 21st March
Unique puppy training class where we TRAIN IN REAL LIFE SCENARIOS, WITH REAL DISTRACTIONS TO GET REAL RESULTS!

This is a 6 week puppy class and consists of: 1 x group theory session where we discuss preventing common problems and how to be the most effective in your training 5 x group training sessions in a variety of locations that you will visit in your every day life. You will also receive information packs and class notes via email so you don’t forget what you need to be working on. This is £95. Booking in advance is essential! A £25 deposit will be required to reserve your space. Puppies need to be under 6 months old at the start of the class or private session

If someone advises you to put your dog to sleep because of it's behaviour problems; please please get a second opinion. We can undo alot of things but we can't undo that I'm afraid. Just because one trainer can't help you doesn't mean no one can.

Yes that is my bed and he is 100% allowed on it 😄. There is normally a blanket for him to lay on but I'm changing the bedding tonight 🤣

Highlight of my Fridays is the videos the guys post in the obedience group. The progress they are making is fantastic but let's just say some of the videos are entertaining too.
I've definitely created some sort of weird fitness craze with my stay with distractions 🤣😂. These guys are committed!

Mid week Training Tip:
If you want to achieve more focus on you when you are out on a walk; reward your dog every time they orientate towards you. For example, if they are walking ahead and they stop and start turning back towards something they've just walked past, reward them as they are moving towards you. Give them extra rewards if they come to you or look at you.
Sounds simple but if you can commit to doing this on every walk for the next week you will see results!

So grateful my dog has a strong "leave" command. Out walking and he catches a smell and starts tracking. I keep walking as he always catches up. I keep turning around to check on him. I'm now quite a distance away from him. Turn around to recall him and see he has half a carcass in his mouth. Shout leave and he instantly spits it out. Thank god! Go see what it is and it's a half eaten pigeon, still quite fresh with blood and guts! 🤮 Yuk!!

After all that drama I've spoilt him with a walk in the sunshine!! Oh how I love English weather!!

A huge well done to my latest puppy graduates! I'm always sad when a puppy class ends but I am always so proud of how much they've learnt. They tackled a fun obstacle course today to recap the things they've learnt and of course to just have some fun. I love watching the focus the puppies now have on their owners. Even in a distracting field! 😍

Our Relax; don't react class especially for reactive dogs. However, no one would know they are reactive because their owners are so awesome at keeping their dogs calm and listening to our advice 😍

Met some lovely new clients this week. Excited to be working with them and seeing the results.
A lovely little collie pup for some obedience training, another lovely collie pup that is struggling with some phobias and the sweetest poodle x schnauzer that loves everybody and anybody so we are working on how to be calm 🤩.
I will never get bored of meeting new dogs and owners and helping them through their struggles. Most rewarding job I've ever had. 😍
