Semi clean rooms, dated and requires some tlc. Good for contractors! Not good for couples or families.
I was glad that they had a room available at almost midnight but the room carpet was disgusting. Dirty dirty dirty. The double bed was two single beds joined together. Mattress were different so one was soft and one hard. Only one discoloured large towel and small one. Furniture very old at the end of his life. A nice stay in the dirt.
Run down is putting it mildly. You get the idea of what to expect when you park in the car park which seems to double as a skip. Only one member of staff to man reception and bar. Needs total renovation. Room door very loose which was a security worry. Carpets stained and dirty. Bathroom grubby and had hairs in bath. TV had no power cables so just an expensive ornament. Paintwork patchy. Fire alarm at 0630 an additional bonus! Won't be back.
There was a receptionist who was in over her head. A lovely lady who had been utterly shafted with an impossible scenario but did her best. There was also tea, the tea was nice. Seriously though, if it wasn't for this poor receptionist it would have been one star.
I was surprised at the tiny lift, my wheelchair barely fit in, we got in the bedroom and opened the curtains and there were net curtains that were absolutely filthy. The bed was lumpy as were the pillows. No coat hangers and to be honest I was glad to only be stopping one night. On a plus side the evening meal was nice. I was a little disappointed we weren't offered tea or coffee after the meal.
When we arrived they hadn't processed the online booking I'd made. The bathroom had the previous occupant's body hair on the floor. Thin walls allowing noisy neighbours to ruin your sleep. Looks run down from the outside, slightly better in reception. Rooms are tired with damp patches. They never answer the phone - I stupidly left something in the room. Despite repeat attempts couldn't reach anyone there. The only upside was there's a bed to sleep in.
Nice staff but hotel could do with some money spent on it. Room was very drab, windows had gaps so traffic noise was quite loud. TV poor signal so trying to watch something became very annoying.
Room was not cleaned 2nites whiles
still there, even with the presence of a 4months old baby ,blocked sink,even when these problems were made known to management ,as far as they were concerned,all they wanted was getting payed for the period stayed thanks to QUANTITY not QUALITY HOTEL WOLVHMTN ,Sorry no next time QUANTITY
Cheap,helpful staff, food good, reasonable priced beer
