stayed there for a week in November and loved it, we stayed in the fox cub cabin 2 berth with hot tub, the cabin was very clean when we arrived 10 out of 10, the facilities in the cabin were great think they thought of everything, there was some tea coffee and milk on arrival in the cabin, plenty of towels and soap in the bathroom, the only small gripe was the hot tub made a bit of noise at night so we turned if off on the second night and switched it back on the next morning so we could get a good nights sleep, there is a £10 deposit on the remotes, I would highly recommend this cabin for a holiday we had a good time there.
I would’ve gave this a 10* if I could. This is by far the best log cabin I’ve been to yet. Clean, tidy, well equipped, with beautiful surroundings. All the staff are so friendly and professional, nothing is too much to ask. We stayed in badger plus 31 and it was spacious and more than what we could’ve asked for. The hot tub was a dream, every morning and night we relaxed in there. Amazing would 100% recommend! C
Absolutely brilliant! Stayed here for 3 nights before getting married, was the perfect get away! Cabin was excellent and having a hot tub overlooking woodland made it the perfect relaxing experience. Unable to connect to the wifi in our particular cabin, however this turned out to be a blessing! Would definitely go back
We stayed over night for scare fest at Alton towers, it would be perfect for camping with the kids in a timber tent! Everyone was really friendly I just think the double floor bed could have been better as the mattress was as thick as my mattress topper at home. This aside it was great value for money.
Came here for a long weekend with my partner and another couple in October 2017. Had a great time, completely switched off from the outside world. The hot tub was great, even when it was raining! Couple of pubs around which we were able to walk to with the dog in 30 mins approx. Mostly brought our own food/drink, everything we needed in terms of kitchen facilities (although I would suggest they added a bread knife to the inventory!).
We stayed in the Fox cub lodges. Beautiful inside with modern furnishings and kitchen and a hot tub for ourselves outside facing the woods.
Had a romantic holiday here and it was the best hot tub place I've ever been to. Total privacy, quiet and hidden in the woods. Absolutely loved it
Lovely place to stay, great for a couples getaway. Would definitely recommend it. Facilities are excellent. My only issue is the roads around the site. In serious need of resurfacing.
Overall great stay. Nice and peaceful. Comfy bed. Shop on site. Hot tub was nice. Could've done with a few more towels for a 4 night stay. WiFi needs improving as there is literally no phone signal out there.

Lovely place but need better cleaners that can do there job
Lovely venue & secluded lodges. On site little shop which is a little overpriced but to be expected. The lodges are well appointed and clean, hot tub was lovely. The decking could do a with a little tlc or even replacing. Also the BBQ was looking a bit beyond its sell by date, not that we wanted to use it in mid November.
U need to visit to fully appreciate it.
