Quarter

Quarter is a community of independent hotels, suites, short lets, bars, restaurants and creative studios in Bristol. We have an exciting events program and run the city’s premier private members club for the arts and media industries.

The Clifton Hotel started as a small bed and breakfast in Clifton back in the 1960’s. With a philosophy of individuality, our aim was to create a unique experience for each guest that stayed with us, providing exemplary service alongside little extra touches that set us aside from the crowd.

We have now evolved into Quarter, with a community of boutique hotels, residential accommodation, cafes, bars and restaurants. We also host an exciting events program and run the City’s premier private members club for the TV and media industries. Our Berkeley Square Hotel is home to a quarterly revolving art exhibition of local talent held in the Square Gallery and we run ‘How The Light Gets In’ a nationally renowned Philosophy and Music Festival.
