The scorching heat hasn't stopped us pressing ahead with our Care and Rehabilitation Centre Development throughout July! We've completed all of our roofing and walls and currently are just finalising the fitting of all of our windows! We really love to see the progress of this amazing building in just a month! Last week over at our Independent Living Services, our residents got competitive with their very own Bake Off Challenge!! Here they are preparing their masterpieces... and it certainly looks like they had fun! Watch this space to see the finished results and see who won! ūüćįūüéāūü•Ą

Our engineer Tim, from one of our family of charities MERU - is participating in an epic 6-hour endurance race, on his Vespa at Teesside Karting in Newscastle. On September 1st, Tim and his team of 3 friends, will compete in the event which consists of all riders taking it in turns to relay the scooter around the course for 6 hours continuously. Their goal is to raise an amazing ¬£10,000 to fund the building of two of our incredible Bugzi powered wheelchairs. A Bugzi gives disabled children an opportunity to gain their independence and confidence, whilst giving them the freedom to play and explore.
