Queen Mary has three libraries. The Mile End library is a large multidisciplinary library serving the majority of the University. There are also two Medical libraries at Whitechapel and West Smithfield.

The Queen Mary Archives hold the institutional archives of the Queen Mary and Westfield College dating (1882 to present), a fascinating range of private papers of individuals (18th century to 1990s) and rare prints dating (17th century to 1960s). The collections are a vital resource for researchers of the arts, humanities and social sciences.
