Me and my family/friends have been here quite a few times over past years & it’s always been very nice the food but tonight it was exceptionally lovely food, the meat was done very nice and soft so it wasn’t hard to chew or cut & the veg was still piping hot (which I noticed the veg pots were still covered with the lids keeping them warm) which was a good thing to see. Compliments to the chef tonight was very nice indeed � Bar Staff were really friendly and polite too.

I would just like t say a big thank u t the lady ( sorry don’t remember ur name) who looked after my sons 40th Surprise birthday 29/4:/18 for 36 guests, the food was beautiful there were ppl ordering from the menu and from carvery we had a great time and everything so amazing once again thank u t the lady who helped she knows who she is thanks again Julie x we have never been disappointed in the Queens as we pop in a few times. X

Came here yesterday for tea, and I wasn’t disappointed. Definitely the best Carvery i’ve EVER had!!! Amazing value for money. Will be back again soon! �

The carvery is always lovely. The desserts are lovely too however there was one particularly unhelpful member of staff, a girl called Lauren, who seemed like she just couldn't be arsed. We came in today for Father's Day and there were 10 of us. Not a small group but I imagine the staff are used to large groups. When Lauren took our dessert order she was unhelpful, didn't listen, got our orders wrong (almost all of them), didn't even bring some of the orders and seemed as though all she was trying to do was get away from our table. When we asked about something that wasn't right, instead of offering to rectify it she just shrugged and said she didn't know. I understand everybody has bad days but you can't take it out on your customers.

I love this place, the carverys are lovely and we don't usually have any problems but today the lady who served us (Lauren) was pretty miserable and seemed like she couldnt be arsed and she got the majority of the desserts wrong, we ordered 9 desserts and out of those she got 4 wrong and never brought 2 at all. My son ordered vanilla icecream without sprinkles and he got strawberry with sprinkles, my other son ordered chocolate without sauce and got sauce. Me, my sister and my niece ordered the same thing, fudge cake with icecream, mine came with 2 scoops of vanilla and they only got one, when i asked her why she just said "oh i dont know" and never did anything about it. My husband and my other son never got their desserts and we waited ages.

Best place for a Carvary by far. The foods brilliant, cant say the same for the staff i was spoken to very rude and i said the coke had gone it tasted just like soda. The bar man took a drink said it was fine and handed it back to me and said its not the same as normal coke.!! There was a que of people behind and at the side of me and i was just shocked that he drank some of my drink and handed it me back. I didnt drink it we ate our food and left. We come regular 2x a month and never had any complaints its a busy place u expect wait, and ques and the odd not happy person your only human but it really did put me off. The lady behind me said i cant believe that. She said now thats rudness at its finest. Can i also add there was a waiter called julie i think and she was amazing. Lovely and honestly couldnt of been any more helpfull we had children with us she cooed over them gave them colours and paper ext. Lovely lady and brilliant at her job!!!

We are regulars here and invited some of our family to celebrate my mother in laws 70th birthday. We had to wait 50 minutes for 2 meals ordered off the menu and over 15 minutes for roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese! The other 9 people had eaten before the meals arrived! My mother's cheese pie was undercooked and my meal was just warm! We choose here because of was her favourite place to eat and I would now think twice before coming again!

I would like to give praise to Gaynor who couldn't do enough for us and apologised so many times for the wait!

I did not enjoy the food was really unhappy with the service, £16 on a steak that wasnt cook how i asked, i went with my other half and 2 kids and not one of us finished our meal

Food was ok. Bad point gang of kids walk in round hoods up. In and out of the toilet every 5 minutes (wonder what there doing). Must be a youth club on Saturdays. Don't think we'll be coming again. Was also asked by one if I'd sell him sniff.
