Nice comfortable room, excellent food and wine, genuinely nice service, good bathroom...what's not to like...
The wife and I went here for a meal during our holiday to berwick. The food, drink and atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were brilliant and could not do enough for us. Would definitely recommend and would come back
Had dinner here and it was perfect. Venison was cooked perfectly and the staff are very welcoming. All in a cosy authentically old setting. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely welcome for our party of four + our 2 dogs, who were served first. Our meal was excellent, fantastic quality, can't wait to go back.
Weren't seated for half an hour after booking time. Had the fish and chips, although the chips were very over done and I couldn't eat them. Other than that, a wonderful experience.

This is one of the nicest restaurants I've been in for a long time! Real nice atmosphere, staff very friendly and clearly enjoy their jobs. Was a walk in customer and they did their best to fit me in for dinner. Bread and oil at table and a jug of iced water a very nice touch! Will definitely come here again, but next time I'll probably book into the hotel too. Thanks guys!
