We just had a wonderful brunch as a Mothers Day treat. Full English was of an excellent high quality with just the right portion size. Service was spot on with friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern & a nice atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back to try dinner & lunch for other occasions. Please everyone lets keep this Wymondham gem run by local Wymondham people going!

Visited for the first time since reopening last night. Food was good, but for me better than that what stood out was your friendly happy staff on shift (25th). Lovely evening!

Thanks for letting our group of new mums and their new babies have a great lunch at your pub. It was our first meet up after our antenatal classes and it was great to get out of the house into a cosy sofa area for a natter. Thanks for being so generous with the space and coming over to say hi! The food was great and it was so nice having food and drinks brought over to us whilst eating one handed. It is brilliant to have a pub with some baby change facilities. I think it's the only pub/cafe in Wymondham with a change table. We hope to see you guys again soon x

Lovely place , didn’t get to eat as fully booked. We did have drinks and I can highly recommend the Berries and Amaretto, Had a couple was delicious. Great friendly staff .

Just wanted to recommend The Queen's Head after our visit today for Mothers Day. Really great service, big portions and good value for money. It was a lovely atmosphere in there too, welcoming people with children and dogs.

I am so glad this place opened in Wymondham. I love everything about it, from the log fires in the winter, to the delicious Sunday lunch - and it's a great place to have meetings. I'm just so pleased it's right on our doorstep.

Hubby took our friend over from Holland, he said the transformation was unbelievable ... staff were so friendly and polite...and it was a fabulous way to show the Dutch how the English pubs are!

My plus will be is my hubby said dogs are welcome, I. Can’t wait to drop by on our walks with our new pub... great addition to Wymondham and I wish the new owners great success x

Had a meal here last night , brilliant food lovely staff enjoyed it so much can't say how much we enjoyed it and def going back , talking about it so much this morning , food was fresh and amazing !!!!!!

Came to celebrate my fiancées birthday with our two children (5 & 3). Sunday lunch was great, reasonably priced. Children loved theirs. Service was superb. Highly recommend. Victoria and team you have a great thing going here. Keep it up!

Beautiful decor, the sofa area with the wood burner was perfect for my friends and I to have an early coffee and a good chat. We were also very impressed with the food especially the fish and chips. We will certainly come back.

We had popped in for a drink a couple of times over Christmas and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the makeover, staff were bright and friendly, we had visited when it was Kindreds and really like the fact that that the new owner has aimed to maintain an upmarket feel, this is exactly what Wymondham has been crying out for .



We ate on Sunday afternoon at 5 and possibly that was a small mistake and the only reason I haven’t given it a 5*.

The food was very good except the beef.

I had a lovely pidgeon starter cooked perfectly , my partner had the soup , again good.

The roasties and vegetables were great and a nice sized portion to boot but the beef was over cooked and with a lot of sinue it was not bad enough to be sent back , especially as it was towards the end of the session but I did need to mention it .



Just a further small point , when bringing wine to the table by the bottle I think at least make the effort to open it rather than plonking it on the table with the glasses. just a small point.



I will return and will recommend to others , as I said Wymondham needs this place.

Popped in here for a tea time drink and was impressed with the warm atmosphere compared to when we visited when it was Kindreds.



We were lucky to find a seat on the sofa. I’m not sure if all the tables are reserved for food or if you can sit anywhere. I should have asked.



The sofa area is big enough for about 6 or 7 people and there are a few seats at the bar so hopefully you can use the tables if those are full as it’s nice to sit down rather than stand on a Friday tea time after work �



There was a good selection of drinks and although we didn’t eat, the food looked nice.



I’m giving 4 stars as there was quite a wait before the staff spotted us stood at the bar and a couple of people got served before us even though we were stood there. The barmaid was actually on her way over to us after another member of staff pointed to us and told her we were waiting but then served another lady that came walking up to the bar.



More staff behind the bar might aid this.



That said, the staff were all friendly and attentive once we were served.



Will definitely visit again as it has a nice atmosphere, is decorated beautifully and has clean loos! Always a bonus �

Came in today for a walk in lunch. Great welcoming atmosphere. Good improvements to the decor. Brilliant front of house staff. Menu very good for lunch but the steak dish is disproportionately priced compared to the rest of the main course menu - being almost £10 above any other dish.



There was a longer wait than expected for a food to arrive once ordered but we appreciate it is 2 weeks before Christmas and just after opening. Overall very impressed and will look forward to coming back. This is just the kind of establishment the town needs and wish you all the best for the future.

Really lovely decor and warm and welcoming staff. We visited on the off chance for a table and despite being busy with a large party, they accommodated us.

Wine was great. Nicely chilled and in a lovely glass.

Food was average and portions a little small for the price. Menu was a little limited and maybe could be supplemented with a specials board?

I understand that families are being welcomed, but unfortunately on our (evening) visit we had a very vocal (but beautiful!) newborn next to us, which made us not want to linger for desserts and coffee. Understandably, you want embrace a wide clientele, but the pub almost feels too nice for kids! (Spoken as a mum of 3!).

I wish the owners much success and truly would have loved to leave a 5 star review.

Nice place was very hot could of done with some air conditioning order are food and had to wait over a hour for it to turn up and the table and it was a very quiet night in there for food

Lovely and cosy sofa area and wood burner. Food was really good , but our experience was let down by the girl who served us. I had to keep getting up to ask for things . We sent our first bottle of wine back as even though it was an expensive bottle of Malbec it tasted like vinegar! The waitress didn’t come back with a wine list or ask what we would like instead , I ended up going to find her to order a new bottle! She kept apologising and saying it was only her second shift. This pub could potentially be amazing with a really professional experienced front of house person .
