About Queens Park Partnership
Queens Park, Longton is where the magic happens.
Queens Park Partnership Description
Queens Park is located in the Longton district of the Stoke-on-Trent. It has an area of 45 acres (or 18. 2 hectares). It was officially opened in 1888 and much of its original character of winding tree-lined carriage drives and paths, shrubberies and some original features, including a bandstand, can be still seen today. It has a very individual character, being one of the city's heritage parks, and houses a range of buildings including the clock tower and three bowling pavilions. It is famous for its trees, horticulture and lakes. It is a major lung of fresh air and green space in an otherwise densely developed city.
