We are looking for a full time line chef to join our team at Quercus in Hebden Bridge.
Salary is competitive and dependent on experience, and will be discussed at interview stage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
... Duties will include - but not limited to - prepping for service, cooking (grill/fry/pass sections), keeping work areas clean and tidy, adhering to and promoting health & safety policies, and generally being a fun person to work with!
REQUIREMENTS:
Someone who thrives on working within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Someone who is passionate about gourmet burgers and upmarket fast food.
Meticulous, methodical, and with good knife skills.
Hard working attitude and a willingness to listen and learn.
Has a good level of English.
Works well under pressure.
Experience in a similar role is preferred, but training can be given for the right candidate. If you are lacking in vocational experience, but can evidence a passion for food, and a desire to get into the industry, we would welcome you coming in for a chat or explaining why you might be an ideal candidate for the role in a covering letter.

Very nice vegan burger ta very much, and I’m notoriously hard to please. The smoothie was lovely too. Looking forward to many a takeaway once you’re fully up and running. �

Two visits now and both times we left stuffed and happy. Friendly staff, delicious food.

Probably the best burger I’ve ever had; even though I asked to have it well done, it was still super juicy yet just cooked perfectly through. The q balls (mac n cheese balls) were the juiciest, most flavoursome we’ve ever tried and the quinoa crumb was just something else! The setting is beautiful, not your usual tacky diner but a sophisticated, relaxed, tasteful restaurant with beautiful artwork and a quirky vibe. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff; who were polite, friendly and willing to please. We can’t wait to go back!
