Quex Youth Club Description

Quex Youth Club was formed in November 2014 by a group of six adults.

We as adults wanted to provide a social outlet for young teenagers between 13-17 years of age creating activities, make new friends, learn new experiences and encouraging them to participate within the local community.

Initially the Youth Club was aimed at young people in our parish community however this has expanded to include young people from the wider community.

The youth club meets at St Eugene's School Hall, Mazenod Avenue, each Friday evening between 7pm-8: 30pm.

Annual registration is £5. 00; entry each Friday is £1 and the Club is open to all young people 13-17 years.

We run a variety of creative and fun projects, Craft making, First aid, Baking, Keep Fit, Sign Language, Floral arranging, Drama, Dancing to name but a few.

Once a term we organise a night out to the movies, bowling, ice skating, theme park etc.

We encourage the youth to offer their services voluntarily in the community in various projects. So far this has been very well received and we have a large number of volunteers.
