About Quidditch Premier League
The Quidditch Premier League is the first nationwide league in the UK for the fast-growing sport of quidditch during the summer months.
Quidditch Premier League Description
The Quidditch Premier League will bring a new level of competitive play to the summer months in the United Kingdom. Exact dates are yet to be confirmed, but our tentative schedule for the inaugural season begin in June 2017 and end in late August 2017.
Inspired by the success of Major League Quidditch in the United States, we will have regional divisions with teams competing against each other in a regular schedule. Each fixture will comprise of three matches, where each team plays the other three teams in the division. The QPL season will conclude with a scintillating championship weekend, bringing the teams from each division together to crown a champion.
Though a UK league has been demanded for years, nobody has truly attempted to bring a project of this scale to British quidditch players across the country. That is, until now.
We intend to be the focus of domestic quidditch during the summer months, and to provide a spectacle for those new and old to the sport alike.

We can confirm that the Northern Angels will be placed on hiatus for the 2020 season, and that the Eastern Mermaids and the London Lions will also be placed on hiatus this year.

2020 SIGN UPS NOW OPEN!
Sign-ups for the 2020 season are now open! And the first 100 players to sign up this season will get a ┬Ż5/Ōé¼6 discount to their 2020 player fees - so don't delay!

.. . We have made a couple of changes to sign-ups for this season, so make sure to read the form carefully, but here are the big changes:
- UK players must now select a secondary team, which is waived from geographical eligibility. This can include entering the Europe draft.
- Europe players may select a UK secondary team, which is waived from geographical eligibility, but are not obligated to.
- You can now choose to try-out by being scouted at events in February in addition to the traditional methods. Managers will scout players or delegate to scouts in order to assess applications. You can also add this information if you're applying traditionally.

Please note that we are maintaining the option to appoint a Northern Angels manager for the 2020 season, based on the level of demand we receive in sign-ups. Should the team be placed on hiatus, details will follow concerning practicalities in the UK North division for the 2020 season.
