Banana and chocolate chip cake, with chocolate buttercream; finished in a quilted effect pink fondant, with edible pearls, and a handmade edible tiara - fit for a very special princess I know and love!

Final cake from the weekend was this fantastic gold L.O.L surprise ball complete with Queen Bee figure. Half vanilla sponge and half chocolate sponge this ball was a tricky one to do, but I love the end result and so Harriet!

Another from the weekend was this 10 inch light and fluffy Victoria sponge cake with a theme from the popular CBeebies program Baby Jake. The tractor and baby were provided by the customer, but all other details were handmade from fondant!

Oh my days it is hot!!!! Please please please, to all you lovrly customers this week (and any other hot weather week) - keep your cake in the fridge until needed... cakes do not like heat, they tend to wind up all smushy looking!!

This year's teacher cupcakes.... my gorgeous boy took some of these to his preschool leader last week as a special thank you on his last day
I've now had the pleasure of doing a few extra ones for a couple of my lovely regulars, so their kids can do the same!

Also this weekend was this whopping 12" round Victoria sponge cake for Guy's special day.... decorated in a simple blue and white design with stars and handmade fondant train 🙂🙂 along side this were 18 dairy and egg free cupcakes to suit the allergies of some of the guests!

Also this weekend was this rich and super scrummy toffee flavour cake in a cricket theme. Handmade fondant umpire, bat, ball, shin guards and wickets finished this cake off perfectly 😊😊
