What an absolute incredible experience we had in Hamish. Hamish took care of us while we ventured around Scotland and saw some of the most spectacular places and views I'll see in my lifetime. Anita and James were so lovely and fantastic in every way. They were so accommodating and genuinely wanted us to have the best time and with their help (and Hamish) of course, we did. I cannot fault them or Hamish in anyway and highly recommend them for your adventure, wherever it may be. Thank you Anita and James. xx

We picked up Rosie in Bristol where we received a friendly greeting and overview of the van. Although Rosie is a large van, it was a lot easier to drive than I had expected. We drove 2 hrs to Dorset for Camp Bestival and it was lovely to have the campervan whereby we could make a cup of tea and cook some food with ease, which had been kept nice and cold in the fridge. Rosie has the benefit of solar panels to enable it to power the fridge, lighting and 12v socket, ideal for charging our phones. We didnt have electric at the festival, so this was one reasons we picked Rosie, having the solar panels.

The seating folded into a very large king sized bed which was also comfortable to sleep on. We didnt use the smaller childrens bunk beds, but they did make an excellent storage space for all our items such as clothing.

Unfortunately the weather turned very windy and rainy at the festival, but being in the campervan made our stay still enjoyable (so glad we weren't in a tent) and we did even make use of the woodburner, even though it was July.

We would recommend Rosie to anyone wanting a spacious van, full of character, ideal for couples or families with children.

We met Sylvester on the Friday afternoon where we were greeted by his friendly owner. He was extremely helpful and was apparent he was very passionate about his masterpiece- and rightly so!

He was well organised which made the handover sleek and seamless; gave us a swift demo of the workings and supplemented it with a handy info folder... Which we referred back to- very user friendly.

We excitedly drove to our destination, the journey was pleasant and comfortable, very easy to drive.

Last but not least... it's what's inside that counts. Wow o wow what a beautiful set up; from the detailed carpentry to every utensil you can think of! Even included some hand ground coffee for us. There is more than enough space inside, however I do advise the awning as an added extra just for that little extra space. (Very easy put up and can drive away still up!)

The fold down bed was comfy especially with the memory foam topper.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with Sylvester and couldn't recommend it enough, we've made some fantastic memories that will stay for a long time.

User

We instantly fell in love with this big yellow van. Maya had everything we needed and more. I took her to a festival in Yorkshire with 2 kids on board we had plenty of space for us all. The interior is beautifully designed and crafted

User

We hired Little Tina for a weekend in Dorset with friends(who were in their own van) and she was perfect. The delightful owners could not have been more accommodating. Little Tina is very well kitted out. There is enough room for six people to sit around the table comfortably should the weather be inclement . The two seats then zip together to make an extremely comfortable bed. There is ample equipment for cooking and a solar panel on the roof keeps the batteries well charged, particularly this year!!!! Little Tina has plenty of storage space considering her size - I was finding nooks and crannies all weekend!!!

We had a great weekend in charming Little Tina. Thank you.

User

We hired Hamish and drove over 500 miles through the Cairngorms, via Loch Ness along the Great Glen Way to Fort William over to Arrisaig, a quick day trip to Eigg and back, took the Corran Ferry drove through the Geln Coe mountsins, along Loch Lomond, a visit to the Kelpies and back to Dunfermline. Hamish provided cosy shelter from rain and airy Al fresco dining during lovely sunshine. Having a camper enabled us to have experiences that no other way of traveling would have afforded. We watched sunset over the Sound of Arrisaig with dolphins playing in the bay, magical. James and Anita were lovely, very helpful and put a lot of love into what they do. Thanks so much for letting us stay in Hamish, we had a great time.

User

We hired Ashleigh for a festival, and it was worth every penny. Despite being a little harder to drive than the car I am used to (easy to stall, gears a bit sticky) the experience of staying in the van was worth every penny. She has the most comfortable bed imaginable, and a good amount of storage space. Loved the van.

User

We had an incredible week in Cornwall driving with Mo! We were a group of 4 friends (2 couples) and found the van to have lots of space for us all with all the convenience of home in the form of a small kitchen, living area in the day with two sofa benches and big table which turns into two big bunks at night and a toilet. Assembling the beds was super easy and it was brilliant to pack up and drive somewhere new each day. After seeing some breathtaking places in Cornwall we really didn't want to drop her back off! If you fancy sitting having a cup of tea in comfort with the doors wide open looking out at a stunning view don't hesitate to book. Danielle and Andrew were so helpful and lovely we really couldn't have asked for more :)

User

We had a week with Maggie and had a great time. Booking was very smooth and despite being a daunting size she was a dream to drive, even navigating narrow Devon lanes with ease. Nice setup inside and plenty of space for us and a lively Newfoundland!

User

We had a great 10 days adventure with Sandy. This was our first time renting a camper van and we think it is not the last time we did it. Sandy was just a perfect van for us. She was really easy to drive and we took her from Swansea along the coast all the way up to Snowdonia NP.

She is equipped with everything you need. The interior is fantastic, very well planned and built in and we love the fact that interior is made of recycled wood. Pick up and drop off was smooth. Our hosts Amina and Steve were lovely and very helpful and we are very grateful for what they did for us.

Thank you Quirky Campers as well. You all rock!

User

We (2 adults) picked up Rex for 7 nights to travel the southwest, through Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. We were flying in from Amsterdam and Jamie (Rex's owner) was kind enough to meet us at Bristol Airport with Rex. After an enthousiastic tour of the van we were on our way!

The van itself is great. The layout of the inside is convenient, everything that you would need for cooking and camping was present and the bed was very comfortable.

We can definitely recommend Rex.

User

This was our first time renting a camper privately, and we struck gold with John and his camper Yuki. What a perfectly formed little camper, which was well looked after. We got a comprehensive tour of the van before we set off and everything was in perfect working order. We had such a fun trip and the drop off was painless - not like all those commercial companies we've used before. We will be back!

User

Surprised my girlfriend for her birthday with a weekend spent in the campervan Indie! We had an incredible time with Indie, wild camping and cooking all of our meals in this well equipped beauty. There's a fridge, hob and all the utensils you need as well as beautiful wooden panelling. The attention to detail is amazing and we had such a great time. Only wish we could've spent longer with Indie! Thank you to Leo and Kathrin for giving us one of the best weekends ever

User

Such a brilliant trip to Norfolk with Wanda. This is a really stylish and practical conversion - Laura and Naomi have thought of everything! Easy to drive and so well-equipped - I can’t recommend Wanda highly enough.

User

My husband and I spent a week in the Scottish Highlands with Dave the Wanderland Van over Christmas, and it was my favourite travel experience so far! We booked through Quirky Campers, everything went off smoothly, and we had the absolute best time! While it was snowing outside, we were snug and warm inside, and I have magical memories of creamy hot lochside coffee stops, amazing food (made using Daves selection of pots, pans and spices) and the absolute best views and adventures... Can I go back yet? 100% recommend Quirky Campers!

User

Loved our 7 days with Sir James, he’s a real head turner! Our children fell in love with him and did not want to give him back. Homely and more spacious than you realise. Simple and straightforward booking and collection set up. Chris is a pleasure to deal with and was always available to answer some of our silly questions from first time campers. Top tip - take your own fold up picnic table. We are already planning our next trip with Sir James.

User

It was an absolute joy to call Silva 'home' for the week. We drove up to Dunfermline to pick her up and embarked on our week long tour of the Scotland, and we certainly did it in style and comfort.

She was really easy to drive with a helpful reversing camera and she ran brilliantly.

Her owner's have thought of everything, plenty of storage, a little sink and 3 ring hob, coolbox, USB chargers, and a heater which kept us lovely and toasty on the blustery and rainy evenings, and the bed is really simple to set up & pack away and surprisingly comfy.

All the other little touches are what make her really special - the fairy lights, the map fabric behind the door, the little circular windows, the colourful and quirky furnishings - it simply feels like home.

I can't thank Anita & James enough, they are so lovely and helpful. Also really grateful to the guys at Quirky Campers who helped out with a few concerns I had beforehand, who were really pragmatic and helpful and gave the kind of advice you can only give if you really know what you're doing.

We're even thinking of now buying our own van, which speaks volumes about how brilliant a time we had! In the meantime, we'll definitely hire from Quirky again!

User

I think I might be a little bit in love with Hamish! He took us on a magical tour of the Western Isles including Skye, North and South Uist, Eriskay, Barra and Mull. All the details were so carefully considered and he was so pretty to live in, as well as comfortable. Anita and James his owners were pretty cool too and it was reassuring to know we could call them anytime if we had a problem (we didn’t) Thanks for a lovely holiday Hamish ❤️❤️❤️

User

Fflur from Llangranog was a brilliant hire. Close to me and easy to go and pick up. Very clean and easy to use van. Drives fantastic, goes like stink on the M4 and 5 to Nailsea. Handles a small horsebox trailer to Stratford supremely. Great vehicle, great owners and a lovely experience. The little was burner stove was so cozy and that night in Stratford where I cooked a paella for 4 was brill. I'll be taking her out again.
