We take comfort in the knowledge our beautiful bedrooms are providing a home from home to some of our dedicated NHS workers during this terrible time. It is the least we could do. We cannot thank you enough for all that you are doing.

WE'RE MISSING YOU TOO...
"A very special place either just for the 2 of us, or even the whole family! Always made to feel welcome with the most salivating items to choose from on their amazing menu! Great wine menu too! Missing this little gem of a Restaurant at the moment, but will definitely be booking in to celebrate being together as a family once again, hopefully very soon!"
Keep safe. Keep well.

Eat The Seasons....You all know our ethos of daily changing menus, small batch cooking, and most importantly, eating what mother nature provides seasonally.
We may not be together at the moment but we know what a resourceful bunch you all are.
Here are some of this seasons favourites for us. Crab, lamb, mussels, purple sprouting broccoli, artichokes.
... Enjoy...until we meet again, stay healthy, strong and happy.

... What did you want to be when you grew up? ***I always remember the first time I went to Pizza Hut, and they had touch screen tills, I always wanted to use one… that dream came true (not as exciting as I built it up to be) apart from that I wanted to be someone that would help others, so I got a degree in occupational therapy.

What would you choose for your last meal? ***I know I’m probably expected to say something QSF related, but it would 1,000% be a pizza from vikings in York.

***SIMPLY EXCELLENT***
"Took advantage of the early bird offer taking a family member who was visiting us. Were seated upstairs in a lovely booth. Service was friendly and spot on. Three of us dined having mussels and a gratin dish to start and all 3 had cod bordelaise for main. All cooked beautifully, ample portion sizes and a real treat. Shared a dessert (cheesecake). 2 Kir Royales, 2 beers and 2 bottles of wine all for £129. Thanks Rob and team for a lovely evening"

Today felt very surreal as myself and the team “mothballed” qsf. The soul of our restaurant has diminished a tad without the laughter of all our lovely customers. But think of us as hibernating, saving our strength until this winter has ended.
You must all do the same and take care of each other until we meet again.
I am happy in the knowledge that Boris is helping pay the wages, that’s all we can ask for. The rest we can and we will rebuild! He has no longer left us in a me...ssy pickle! I hope he goes further and supports all who are worried.
We managed to donate some food we had to a worthy cause so all was not lost.
I will have quite a lot of time on my hand so if anyone vulnerable or self isolating needs anything do message me and I will be happy to take care of this for you.... even if it’s qsf wine! We all need a little tipple!
We have offered our bedrooms to the NHS should they come to need extra accommodation for the increase in staff. Free of charge of course.
Finally I cannot thank you enough for all the pay it forward vouchers you have all purchased. It helps and means so much. You have faith in us and we will not let you down.
Finally if anyone is down to their last toilet roll do get in touch. The hotel is closed so I can hand out to those down to their last sheet! Let’s keep smiling 😃
We love you all.
Rob and The QSF team. X

SORRY TO SAY WE CAN NO LONGER OFFER...QSF TO GO!
Our new pick up service, with a range of your favourite dishes, cooked fresh to order was due to start on Monday 23rd March.
However, yesterday cafes, pubs and restaurants were told to close - to tackle coronavirus. The Prime Minister said the situation would be reviewed each month.
... As the government said it will pay 80% of wages for employees who are not able to work, we will not be able to continue with our takeaway service - QSF TO GO!
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who showed such enthusiasm and support for QSF TO GO but sadly, with the restaurant and hotel now closed, it is no longer viable.
We'll continue to keep in touch with you and until we meet again, take care and stay safe!
Love from Rob & QSF Team
