Very expensive capital option but cheap to run, once you have one, a kettle seems like and ancient gadget. The sheer speed of making tea, cleaning a pan with boiling water and using it to cook is brilliant and saves money heating a pan of water. It is easy to use and we have never run out of boiling water. When away we switch it off and it takes no time to heat up again. Great!

I bought the 5 in 1 Quooker Tap for my new kitchen and it looks great. I love the 'cut glass' appearance to the base of the tap and I love the clean lines. What I don't like about it is the flow rate of the chilled water; it's very poor. It takes ages to pour just one small glass of water. I'm also very disappointed with the sparkling water. The flow is also slow, but looks very fizzy. Unfortunately, the fizz is gone within minutes, well before you've had time to drink it. Considering the price was £2,300 (without installation costs) I would think twice about buying this again.

I think the Quooker tap & hot water system is very good. Saves having to boil too much water & saves worktop space with no kettle. I may connect mine with an Alexa/Google Home smart plug & turn it off when I am on holiday and turn it on when on way home.

The annoying part is the cost of cold water filter at £50 & scale filter at £90.
Seems very expensive. I am not sure they need replacing at the frequency suggested. I think 2 years is ok.

Maybe they could sell cold water & scale filter kit as a package for £120 which is still a lot of money for what they are.

Also my scale filter is behind the main heater unit. It would have been better if it was in front to make filter replacement easier.

Cold filter has replacement instructions on the side. Could do that with scale filter. It’s big enough.

Also put cold water filter replacement instructions online too. At the time I didn’t know they were on the filter.

Very quick and convenient and a great advance on the trusty old kettle. We find the cold press to get the blue light and boiled water (red light) pressing mechanism a bit hit and miss and needs to be done carefully to work. Generally very pleased with it subject to the above.
