We are still having our tidy up in the workshop, and we have some 25ltr drums of ISO 32 Hydraulic Oil for sale £47.50 per drum plus VAT. It's a good price and you are getting 25 not 20ltrs for it. The oil is new and not reblended and meets or exceeds all relevant standards

As you know, we supply pressure washer parts and accessories. So we have this pressure washer in for a bit of TLC. Co-incidentally today, just before this machine arrived, we sold a pressure wash lance to a regular customer. So if you need a Lance or Hose etc. (A roto nozzle for example), call in or give us a phone. We are always pleased to help

Some interesting jobs on the bench, all works in progress. The Hydraulic Motor is a bit unusual, being a modern version of a David Brown hydraulic unit. This one is off a stone crusher and is unfortunately beyond economic repair, so we have quoted to supply a replacement motor. As you are aware, as well as repairing hydraulic equipment, we can supply all sorts of Hydraulic Motors, Pumps and Valves etc. The yellow steering ram to the left is off a Ford/New Holland digger, the ...machine dates back to the 1980's and the spare parts needed for this machine are basically not available any more, so we will be repairing the ram to keep the digger in use for our customer. As well as repairing rams, we can supply new ones and make rams to pattern etc. We have lots of experiance, and we always do our best. A small but important part for a customer. It drives a power pack on a machine making sausages. We have sorted the part in less than 24 hours, so your full english should not be affected on the weekend. I was thinking of a catch phrase from the 1970s ad for Penguin biscuits: “Chop, chop, busy, busy, work, work, bang, bang.” The sad thing is I'm thinking of somthing from the 1970's. (What happened 5 minutes ago, lost in fog. What happened decades ago, clear as a bell!)

We have just finished resealing an all terrain forklift's mast ram. The bar is 70mm OD and about 2.2mtrs long. Not something we do every day, but we got it done and ready for collection as soon as the customer can come and pick it up.

We arrived at work this morning to find a Hydraulic Motor left for us to examine. The drive shaft was damaged and there was no i.d. plate on it to give a part number or displacement etc. So we had to measure the old unit and work things out that way. Once we'd done the measuring we realised we had a motor on the shelf that would be appropriate and actually better for the job (ours had better features to protect the motor whilst it's working than the original), so after a quick discussion with our customer we have fitted his valve to our motor and he will be in to collect it this afternoon. We are always happy to do a job where we can make it better than original spec and still save you money.

Our new Log Splitter Valves are now in stock. We supply them complete with adapters to fit the hoses.

Just to let every one know, we will be closed for Easter. We will close on Thursday afternoon (4:30pm 18 April) and re open as normal on Tuesday 23rd. When you work with or use hydraulics then safety should be your top priority.Remember, prevention is always better than cure when working with high pressure machinery.
... Check your hoses for cracking and wear regularly. Do it by eye, don't use your hands, that way you avoid being stabbed by abraided wires or even worse injected by oil!
If your hose needs replaced, remove it when the machine is switched off and there is no pressure in the line and bring it to us. We will make your hose to pattern while you wait and we always do our best to give you a good price.

This is a very good quality (uk made) Hydraulic Motor. This type, with a 4 Bolt Flange and 200cc Displacement, is used on such machines as a Spread a Bale. We will be able to offer this motor at a very competative price, visit our workshop or telephone us for more information. As well as being used in agriculture, you will find these motors on forestry machines and attached to gear boxes etc. I know of this exact motor being used in the North Sea Oil industry; so the quality is superb and our price is exceptional. When you have marks like this on your chromed rod, I am sorry to say that a new set of seals won't stop the oil leak. You need a new bar. So we'll be making one as quickly as we can; it's a bit of a job as the rod has an internal thread for an adjustable anchor point and the piston is welded on. So that will need machined off to be fitted to the replacement rod. Then the ram will be rebuilt and will go back to be fitted to the wagon tail lift it is used on.
