Goodbye Steve! Just a few pics from Steve's last day with us. You will be missed by all the team.

Last week we had to say goodbye to Steve who retired from the R-Tech team after a long and loyal service. Steve was a great asset to the technical team and will be missed by all. We hope you enjoy your retirement Steve and still pop in for a coffee and a chat ☺

Some of the team were at the NECBirmingham yesterday setting up the stand ready for the NEC Classic Motor Show that opens tomorrow. We have some special guests attending the show with us this year. We are very grateful to Dan Dobson and his father Edward for the loan of their Pre-65 Trials Ariel bike. Fully rebuilt by them both and another engineer with incredible engineering skills and TIG welded with an R-Tech TIG201 Welder, including the Titanium exhaust. There will be info on the rebuild available on the stand. We are in Hall 4 Stand 320, pop on over and say Hi if you are attending the show!

What a nail biting end to the Clio Cup season last weekend! Bradley Burns Racing had a roller-coaster of a weekend. The race was stopped short on Saturday but Bradley secured a podium by finishing 2nd after MRM’s Jack Young received a time penalty. A puncture caused early retirement on Sunday and Bradley's first DNF of the season. Bradley has however had a brilliant first full season and is crowned Graduate Champion. Congratulations Bradley and to PYRO Motorsport for becoming Team Champions again this year.

It's #FriYay and the team have been flat out this week! We had great day out at Silverstone last Sunday to watch Bradley Burns Racing in the Clio Cup. What an absolutely brilliant weekend Bradley had. It started with qualifying in pole for both races and setting a new lap record at Silverstone in the Clio’s, which he held from last year! At just 17 years, 1 month and 14 days old and his first full season in the Championship, Bradley made motor racing history by winning his first race on Saturday and then went out and did it again on Sunday. Congratulations Bradley! 🏆🏆

A little tyre shredding from Ian 'Bizz' Phillips to wet the appetite of the Drift fans out there. British Drift Championship heads to the Three Sisters Circuit this weekend for the penultimate round. Ian went to do some testing on his new Wisefab rear end set up at the circuit and we look forward to seeing what he can do in his LSZ. Best of luck to both Ian and Coops Drift competing this weekend!

We are very much looking forward to the penultimate round of the Clio Cup this weekend at Silverstone Circuit. The R-Tech team will be there to show support to Bradley Burns Racing who is the current lap record holder 💪 17 Year old Bradley has had a great season so far and is currently 7th in the Drivers Standings, only 7 points behind Michael Epps. A fantastic achievement! Sundays races will be shown live on ITV4 with the Clio's racing at 13:50pm all being well 🏁

the lads in the office are spot on . one phone call for help or advice and there are realy clued up on there products . as for the plasma cutter wot more can i say it dose wot it says on the tin . and the buld qulity of it is very good and robust

My first purchase was 6 years ago. Since then I have bought two more machines off them, a 50 amp plasma and a 250 mig, both get hammered on a daily basis and just go on and on despite having a filthy workshop. All staff are pleasant and ordering consumables couldnt be easier, always arrive next day. Fantastic company ti use.

Long time since I owned a mug, I got rid of it as I could not justify paying box for the Argo shield. Treated myself to a new r tech 180 igbt . Spent 10 minutes setting it up,. It produces first class welds. Fact . If you are in any doubt what to get your wife for Xmas , just print off a pic of the 180 mig and send r tech nearly £500. Best money you wil spend, and much better than socks and Tesco socks when she wakes up on 25th.

Just thought I'd let people know that after 4.5years my tig welder is still going strong with no probs and I use it daily!

I’ve been using the digital 210a tig welder for years now and couldn’t be happier! I have my eye on the 200a mig welder now, maybe even the 2x4 cnc plasma table for knocking up quick prototypes..

I only picked my acdc201 tig up 3 days ago but had a few hours practice on it today. So far all good, the machine that is, I'm not so good . I'm used to a transformer tig so there's a few settings I need to get used to.

I just received my 250 promig and it is amazing!! It arrived next day delivery, extremely well packaged. The customer service is amazing I visited r tech last week to demo the machine and Ben was refreshingly honest and helpful, this machine is one of the best on the market and amazing value! I you don't buy this welder your a Muppet haha!! Thanks guys I'll call back soon for a new tig ;)

I have had 3 machines from R-tech now and their efficiency and customer service is fantastic. I am currently using their 200A AC/DC digital tig plant and it is fantastic. I weld a variety of materials with it including aluminium, steel, magnesium, titanium as well as hard face build ups and bronze / tig brazing.



I would definitely recommend a water cooler and a smaller, lighter torch but I am impressed with the quality of all the equipment. I have had the opportunity to use a variety of different machines including some extremely specialist tig plants but I actually prefer this to many of the others I have used!

Have bought 2 Tig welders and a Plasma cutter plus consumables over the years. A first class service with the best back up ever. Cannot rate highly enough.

Had a161 machine before. Needed more power so now have the 320 amp digital 3 phase machine with watercooler and its the best thing since sliced bread. Cant fault the machine and the help I recieved from R tech when getting setup. Highly recommend thanks guys.

Great machines and great people, I also like the fact that if I ever needed to return for repairs they’re only Gloucester!!! (I say if, but they’re quality machines so I doubt I will need to)

Got a tig 251 and an MMA inverter 135.

Can't recommend these guys enough, dropped in yesterday with a small issue with my TIG161 (first issue in 6 years), walked away 30 minutes later with the machine like new. They also did me a great deal on one of their newer style foot pedals and a gave me pointers on how to get the most out of the machine! Brilliant service!

Brought a 180 mig, guy I spoke to on the phone was very helpfully and got everything sorted for me, welder arrived the next day as promised, very well packed. Had a play with it today, for the price it's spot on, performs much better than my previous machine which was £200 more expensive

Bought our dc200 rig from arc-rite years ago.



Several years on, abused, battered and neglected it's still going strong.



Superb support and a lovely company to deal with.

Bought a Tig161 way back in 2009, After 7 years of trouble-free welding, it developed a fault, R tech fixed my welder and got it back to me all within 48 hours of it leaving my house! Fair price for the fix too.

Bought a MIG 180 from this company after months of research and couldn't be happier its far superior to the £280 Clarke 135 an performs just aswel as the Lincoln electric 355 pro three phase welder obvalsy up to 180 amp and the lincoln has better duty cyle being best part of £3000 but at 35% 180 amps you won't find that elsewhere at even close to the price customer support is the best I've come across highly recommend

Been meaning to leave a review for a while, I purchased a 4x4 cnc plasma table. Customer service doesn't get better, demo and then training day were great, nice and relaxed and very knowledgeable staff (think it was Ben) . Finally got mine set up this weekend and it's already making my life easier. Love it!!

After looking and looking for a plasma cutter I kept coming across R tech. Looked at it over and over. Then noticed they're just round the corner so paid them a visit!! Left with a new P30c plasma cutter.! Excellent bit of kit excellent service. Will definitely be using R-tech when any of my other welders are due for renewal.

1st ever welder purchased after lots of advice kept coming back to R Tech, the customer service is exactly how customer service should be A+ Mike helped me select the right machine for what I needed it to do and as I have never even handled a welder before I was invited to HQ to collect it and have a 2 hr crash course in welding to get me started.

Very happy and will definitely recommend.
