As health care providers, at Rabin Opticians our first priority is our duty of care to our customers.
As you may be aware, the current situation regarding the corona virus (covid-19) is changing on a daily basis.
... To do our utmost to protect the health of our valuable customers and employees, we have made the decision to restrict access to EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS ONLY.
-For your safety, only 1 customer will be allowed in the practice at any one time.
If you already have any spectacles or contact lenses to collect, or would like to arrange to order some, please contact us to arrange an appointment.
All visits to the practice must be by appointment only.

Rabin Opticians is open as normal, with appointments available for all routine and emergency eye concerns.
The current advice is that, unless you have been advised to stay at home or self-isolate, you should still attend your routine eye appointments, as your eye health is important.
You can book with confidence - at Rabin Opticians, the health and wellbeing of our patients and staff has always been our top priority and with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are taking e...xtra precautions to ensure we minimise the risk of infection and transmission.
- In accordance with NHS guidelines we are asking all patients with fever and cough symptoms, or those who have travelled from high risk areas, or who have been in contact with those suspected of having Coronavirus, to not attend the practice or attend appointments.
- Hand sanitisers are available for patients on arrival at the practice and staff will be disinfecting all machinery and seating areas between use and regularly during the day.
- All frames tried on will be disinfected after use, before being returned to display.

Here at Rabins we recommend most of our patients visit us every 2 years for their routine eye exam. We have state of the art testing equipment and charge just £20 for an eye examination, this includes a digital retinal scan, during which we take a digital photograph of the back of your eye to check the health of the eye, this can also help us with early diagnosis and prevention of many eye conditions, this is a completely FREE OF CHARGE service and helps us monitor the health of your eyes. If you think you might be due an eye exam, give us a call on 0161 748 2501 or drop us a message. We also have our very own free parking outside the practice for your convenience.
