We loved our overnight stay. We had a superb dinner at the steak and lobster restaurant and excellent service from all staff. Thank you!

User

We have for the 3rd year now used this hotel for our work function and I cannot fault it. It has been consistently good and a great place to stay. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfortable beds and the food is a real winner. Despite being alongside the runway, when in your room you do not hear the planes taking off. The only noise is from the people walking along the corridors which can’t be helped. The staff are always friendly, helpful and the venue is one of the best I’ve been to. A new feature is the virtual concierge, I’ve yet to use it but I was intrigued by the offer of assistance via text message. I look forward to my stay next year.

User

We didn’t stay in the hotel but went there for dinner in the Steak and Lobster restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful with high ceilings and a grand staircase. The restaurant was really nice, the staff were friendly and the service was top class. The food was amazing! A great choice of cocktails on offer as well.

Although it was quite expensive it was worth every penny. Will definitely be returning for the food.

User

The hotel was very clean and tidy ,impressive decor..

we ate in the steak and lobster restaurant. Steak was served exactly as i asked. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and professional.

Would definitely stay here again....

Only slight flaw could be if there's a party/ event other guests noise along the corridor.

Overall excellent friendly staff, very nicely furnished room, high standard of food service....

Oh... and don't be disappointed but you don't expect a scenic view...... but enjoy the experience of staying in the hotel

User

I unexpectedly found myself booked into this hotel for a night courtesy of British Airways, after they cancelled my flight to Germany for a third time. Image my surprise when the taxi from London deposited me outside this magnificent 5* hotel After gasping at the jaw dropping chandelier in the foyer I was greeted by a number of friendly faces. Within 5 minutes of arriving, I was clutching a keycard and walking through the vast corridors, admiring ancient Indian art to my delightful room. I was able to get a meal within the £20 budget in the BA deal as a takeaway from one of the restaurant. After a peaceful night sleep I was sufficiently refreshed to tackle the trials and tribulations of taking a BA flight from Heathrow. Unfortunately I didn't have time to experience any other aspects of this magnificent hotel, but would highly recommend this hotel it's staff and quick service to the whole world.

User

I have got to say I only arrived 8 hours ago at the hotel & it says something when I am already on here leaving a 5***** Star review before going to sleep.

We arrived a day before our two day yearly conference we have here each year, just to have a bit of a catch up & pamper session with work colleagues. Amal the lady looking after the Spa has been fantastic. she couldn’t do enough for us to make us all feel welcome. Amal & her team was full of knowledge of the services & products on offer as well as making sure we was well looked after in the Spa. All this without putting any of us under any pressure to purchase or book anything. Within 5 min of meeting Amal it was like meeting up with a long lost friend her customer service was outstanding. The Indian restaurant served beautiful food and again couldn’t do enough for you. Reception on arrival again provided 5***** service & all our requests pre arrival was in place on arrival.

I highly recommend this hotel beautifully clean really friendly staff who acknowledge you as they walk round the hotel. I’m really looking forward to my next two days staying here May 15-17th May 2018

User

Great hotel, well run and attentive staff. Rooms large and well appointed. A number of good restaurants especially good Indian, great breakfast, parking and good value.

Hired a meeting room and again great service.

User

Booked a weekend away with the family with a coach trip, after spending the afternoon in legoland we make our way to our hotel for the night, pulling up outside this grand 4☆ hotel thinking the driver had made a mistake we were greeted by very friendly staff handing us our keycards and directing us to our rooms that were stunning, we had a beautiful dinner and the stake and lobster restront that was so delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the prices are responsible. will definitely be stopping here again

User

Am not gona lie they hated us cos we was from the north west and loved a little wacky backy ... but they sent my ipad all the way back to liverpool for that you hit gold

User

Almost a shame it was only an overnight stay. Very clean room, incredibly nice staff, great places to eat and drink. Will remember it next time I’m in London!

User

5 star isn’t enought to rate this hotel. The concierge and staff are very helpful and patient. They made a wonderful and delightful sweet gesture for my personal request. They’ve unexpectedly go the extra mile! I could not thank you enough! Will definitely go back next month!

User

When it's hot outside why don't staff close the curtains when finished cleaning our room.

Our room was stupidly HOT and having curtains closed would have made less so.

Otherwise a good stay.

User

Stayed there last night and had an excellent experience from start to finish, food was of a high quality and served by very professional and pleasant staff, only down side was the choice of food for young children was fussy and over complicated but that was sorted by the fact it has a Macdonalds right outside the door would definitely stay again.

User

Positive points: (I have stayed there in the past but this time was there to have lunch and use the spa facilities) This is a good hotel with good size clean rooms. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel and we had luch at The Stake and Lobster, where food, cocktails and services were all very good! The spa has Sauna, Steam-room, cold plunge-pool and a relaxation room, all are usually well maintained.

Not so positive points: The steam room was out-of-use, however, we were given discounts due to that.

User

in general I am not a person who is rating either only one star or five stars. so let me be honest this a two star rating.

I had a stay from the 12th til 14th of May18 since I went for a course at a neighboring hotel, I used my points on my stay and was first thinking of taking the nights at ParkInn. but since the Radisson look like it was better rated i choose this one. I am silver member of radisson.

First of I got a room, that went out the back yard, and had a direct view into a ballroom. I do know I ordered a room out to the back yard when I checkedin over the internet, but when i checked in I asked if I could change my room to another view than the back yard. I was told I could get another room for 30 pounds extra per night.

another thing with room was there was a strange smell in the bathroom I mad a note to the cleaners regarding this I am not sure if that helped because an hour later I came back efter it had been cleaned the smell was back again.

in the evening Sunday the 13th I wanted to have something to eat, and since i the day before had some Indian food at another hotel. basically I just wanted to have some european british food, which I could in the bar. but in the bar and the restaurant there was so loud "shity" music, that I asked if it could be turned down, I was first answered that I could site outside, where smokers were sitting.. well I tried later on and were told by the waitress could not turn the music down since she told to that there should be loud music by her bosses. there were only sitting 4/5 people in the bar and none of them looked like they enjoyed the music.

Again I am wondering why a waitress only will listen to her bosses instead of the costumers/hotel guests.

again what is most important for a hotel, to please the owner and the boss of the hotel or the hotel guests. I know that is a difficult one.

I could say something about the styling of the interior, but again it is England and I understand that the area around heathrow is an Indian dominated area, and let me admit I do admire Indian culture and my last girlfriend was actually half Indian.

when I checked out I told my opinion.

but Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel if you want me to come back you have to think about costumer service a little bid more and especially turn down the music.

User

We went here for Christmas dinner as a family of 13 at 2pm.Ordered drinks for all of us at 14:10, 5 came at 14:35 (one was wrong), the rest came at 15:05, after the starter!! We were constantly asking where our drinks were and all the staff kept saying was "They're on their way". Christmas dinner was appaling, the Turkey was some form of dried out roll and the stuffing looked like tinned cat food. My Vegan sister ordered her main and got a Seafood risotto, good job she is Vegan through choice and not allergy. We complained but no-one seemed that concerned or in actual charge it seemed. We have complained since via email to the appropriate Management and after paying £800 for a ruined Christmas meal for 13 people, we were offered a complementary meal at the Hotel for 4. Like we would want to eat there again??!! Appalling attempt at palming us off.

User

Most incompetent staff I've ever dealt with while traveling. Paid for 5 rooms and only received 3, after talking with the manager, he said he would need time, told him I'd be back down so DON'T call the room now cause of the screw up i have our kid trying to sleep who has an early flight....and surprise surprise... we get a phone call

User

Hi Edward, I've been in the hotel for approximately 20mins and I've had to call for the manger due to a complaint!!(who was quite truthfully useless and tried telling me this was a honest mistake) really!!! The bar staff have tried charging me 12.5% surcharge!! It quite clearly states (in the small print) that the surcharge is discretionary and not compulsory!! When I questioned the barman (twice) that the price for the bottle of bollinger was £65 as in the drinks menu, "he's reply was that's the price" when I said I want to see a manger regarding my complaint, he had a second thought a quickly came over to refund me ( my wife was witness to this, also I have both receipts and photographs of the bar prices, and small print) I can only come to the conclusion that this is deliberate deception to fraudulent obtain additional revenue from a customer! Sadly, the hotel manager (or so I'm led to believe) was not the slightest bit interested and tried to defend the staff member "claiming a honest mistake" may I remind you of the legal obligation of the hotel managers duty's to follow up any formal complaint with immediate investigation! This tells me that it was not the hotel manager I spoke with! Very poor, expected better from Radisson! Going forward, I've attached (some) pictures of my bill and the small print in the drinks menu and posted them on twitter and other social media pages. Once I return home, I will be taking this as far as necessary!
