Brilliant just took most of my family on a trip 30years back in time. We were treated to tour around the type 84 by the Station Boss. Followed by the museum a fantastic day alround thanks to all.

This is an excellent museum for those interested in the history of radar and the role it played in the Allies winning the second world war. Run by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable bunch of volunteers.

Really great museum staffed by very friendly and knowledgeable volunteers, many of whom worked on the equipment in an operational capacity. Lots more to see than you expect and something to interest all ages.

Fascinating museum all about radar. There are a number of installations and live demonstrations, and the staff, who all seem to be volunteers, are extremely helpful. The cafe really feels like a NAAFI canteen, too. High point for me was being allowed to climb into the cockpit of a BAC Jaguar (a jet fighter, in case you didn't know) and learn about the controls. We spent about three hours here, and were not bored.

Really interesting and brilliant tour guides. Very informative. Seeing part of history that may have been one of the single most important factors in preventing invasion in ww2 was simply glorious.

Highly recommended visit. The museum is superb and there is so much to see and do. The friendly, helpful volunteers make the subject even more interesting by their in depth knowledge and willingness to explain without being boring or too techie. Great for families too as there is plenty to interest the children and there's a good cafe onsite.

Staff so friendly and knowledgeable with so much to see....looks small when you arrive, trust me it's like a Tardis inside 👍

Spent a lot longer there than we thought. Enough missiles, cockpits and the like to keep kids interested

A truly fantastic place! We did both of the talks and also the tour of the bunker. Fantastic day out with very friendly and helpful volunteer staff. We will return!
