The Cockermouth Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association, providing welfare, support and help in times of need for the RAF family.

The Cockermouth Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association is a charitable organisation which provides welfare and support for the RAF family, giving help in times of need to those who serve or have served in the RAF, and their dependents.

The Cockermouth Branch was inaugurated in 1985 and is well placed to serve the north west area of Cumbria. The Branch remains active with an increasing number of members. Our team of unpaid volunteers, supported by local businesses, has broken its own collection records for the RAF Associations Wings Appeal several times in recent years. Occasional Social Events are held throughout the year, and we make all new members most welcome.

Meetings are held at 19. 00 hours on the second Wednesday of each month (except December) at the Conservative Club, Main Street, Cockermouth, and all members are welcome to socialise after business concludes at 20. 00 hours.
