Stayed at the Rafayel yesterday on a business trip. Really nice staff, safe parking, near Clapham junction so easy to get around London and room overlooked the Thames so a great view of London. Had dinner as well, food was really good and good value. Talked to the Hotel owner in the gym and you couldn't meet a nicer guy. Will definitely book again when I'm next in town
My husband and I stayed here a couple of years ago, we stayed a couple of nights as we went to Chelsea flower show. We were in the Thames room & it was amazing & would highly recommend this hotel. Would love to go there again. Pure luxury, many thanks
Me and my wife had the time of our lives there, even though it was just for one night .
Everything was beautiful, also the 3 course meal was best we've ever had, especially the steak...never thought someone can truly do a perfect medium rare like that, paired with a very interesting gravy .
On top of that, to relax in the spa and to read in those unique set-up rooms made it complete . Truly memorable experience .

Love The Rafayel! We've stayed here many times, it's a comfortable, convenient and cost effective choice. With Lovely large rooms, soft sheets, comfy beds, easy parking and helpful staff it's perfect for us. It has a wonderful position right on the Thames and is a great location for acccessing the most interesting river sights and villages in London with a refreshing waterside walk. But it's absolute Unique Selling Point. Is watching the helicopters land and take off from the heliport while eating a superb full English breakfast! So exciting and, thanks to great double glazing, practically noise free! Thank you and see you soon!
I've stayed at Hotel Rafayel three times now and each visit is a renewed pleasure. The facilities are superb and the staff friendly and welcoming. The owner, Iqbal Latif, goes out of his way to mingle with guests and get to know them personally and is generous with his hospitality. The views of the Thames from the Banyan restaurant are simply stunning and have to be seen to be believed. An added bonus is the fabulous spectacle of the helicopters taking off and landing from the Battersea helipad. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, providing excellent value for money, and it's well worth paying extra for a room with a Thames view - you won't be disappointed! Other perks include the Spa and the free shuttle bus service to the Clapham stations. Special mention must also be made of the Banyan restaurant, which provides excellent food and service. Staff are helpful and attentive, especially guest relations manager Trudy who always goes the extra mile to make guests feel at home. The hotel is also constantly evolving and improving itself. During my last visit there were improvement works ongoing to its magnificent 18th-floor roof terrace as well as the opening of a designated smoking area promoting classy Havana cigars. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel and will definitely be returning.
I spent in this beautiful Restaurant on the Thames, one of the best New Year's of my life! Everything was excellent : from the menu to the beautiful music with Dj Alberto Tagliaferri who accompanied us all on this wonderful event!Thank you all!.
I have been coming here for 5 years now, such a beautiful hotel, nice rooms, a five star by the Thames for a very good price. And the Banyan restaurant, some of the best indian food and very good international food too, in such a beautiful place. The new covered terrasse is a great feature, now you can have your cigar at warmth, enjoying your dessert or some brandy the Thames.
I had such a lovely experience. Enjoyed the flavoursome cocktails, to the friendly staff and most of all the ambience. The restaurant/bar sits just on the river where u can watch the sun go up and the sun go down, creating sceneic settings. I will return!
Had the pleasure of staying here for my birthday. The customer service I received from Ben was outstanding. I had a very minor issue where I cant drink caffeine and there was no sachets available in the hotel. Ben arranged for a fresh decaf Americano to be sent to my room straight away and also sent his driver out to go and get some! I was a little bit disappointed that the spa pool was out of order and perhaps if things like that aren't available for customers to use it could be posted on here? However the service and the hotel more then made up for it. The 3 course meal me and my husband had was amazing and so was the breakfast! The room was stunning (loved the jacuzzi bath) and was very clean and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and If I'm ever looking for accommodation in London again I will most certainly be staying here. Thank you for making my birthday a memorable one

4th visit and yet again amazing!!! Reception staff very welcoming, room was to a high expectation. Room cleaned daily (And tidied-so thank you :-)). Restaurant staff friendly and accommodating, food presentation fantastic and gorgeous!! Perfect situation right on the river and away from the hustle and bustle of central London x

I’m not impressed of the room, towels not changed, bed not made properly and we had to go down to remind the front desk other than that the view was awesome and the restaurant was great! The staff in the restaurant were friendly and the food was great.
Food was nice enough, we stayed in hotel and popped over about 3ish to get a drink bloke behind bar was rude didnt even say hello and told us restaraunt was fully booked all night we went back at 7:30 had a table by window and saw place was half empty i counted over 10 tables!
I really want to give this hotel 5 stars - beautiful big windows with a sea view, comfortable bed and one of the best showers i have used but i cannot due to the events surrounding the stay.
i had come on a anniversary getaway break but for some reason they decided to hire out the entire floor above me for a party so there was loud music on - my 7 month old couldnt get to sleep and then we missed his window and he was restless then and the next day resulting in us not been able to enjoy or do what we had wanted.
i complained several times about the music and was told 1 hour, 30 mins etc eventually it went off around midnight but then there was the sound of people moving furniture till about 1am.
Not acceptable for a "5 star".
