A little update from Bridge2Aid on how our Treatment Coordinator, Holly, is getting on in Tanzania where she is teaching vital emergency dental care to health workers!

This is one of our Treatment Co-ordinators, Holly, just before she flew off to the Chato District, in the Geita Region of Tanzania, on behalf of Bridge2Aid. Together with her brother, Jack, who is a dentist, Holly will be spending 3 weeks teaching vital skills to rural healthcare workers in the provision of emergency dental treatment. Good luck Holly!

The first picture shows the broken tooth as presented to Dr. Tim Doswell. The second picture has been taken later the same day, after the tooth has been removed and replaced with a dental implant and temporary crown. This is called an "immediate placement".
