Roedale valleys great Spring event is on tomorrow from 10 till 2. We have a plant sale, a plant swap,tombola,raffle,kids face painting,jams and a stall by Brighton and hove organic gardening group. Plus cake!!!

We still have loads of straw bales available for free at the valley. Please help yourselves. Tenants from lower Roedale are also welcome to help themselves. The gates will be open every Saturday from 9 till 2 so come and get them.

The straw bales dotted around the shop and store hut at Roedale valley are FREE. Please please only take one or two max. Don't be greedy,think of others. Thank you. Amos.

Hello allotmenteers, This is a round-robin email sent to all allotment tenants and registered co-workers for whom we have an email address. We would like to remind everyone of the rules relating to bonfires, waste materials and flytipping on our sites. Smoke from bonfires on your allotment site can quickly spread over adjoining gardens and can cause a real nuisance to local residents who understandably want to enjoy the long awaited sunshine as much as allotment tenants. Our plants will be ready to buy from this Saturday the 11th of May at Roedale valley allotments and every Saturday for the next few weeks. We are open from 9 till 2. We have tomatoes,caugettes,squashes,kale,leeks,ch ard,beans,flowers and more.

Free Metal Shed at Roedale Valley!!

We now sell organic, heat treated(no weeds) and sieved compost at the valley shop. It's only £2 per level barrow load or 50p per bag.

Lower Roedale Community plot Recently volunteers got together over a sunny weekend to dig and clear plot 70B for a polytunnel and many other beds and growing areas such as a butterfly bed and a wildlife pond. Thank you to all who helped and special thanks to Suzie for providing tea and cake! Thanks again too to BHAF for the grant for the polytunnel.
