The World Cup is fast approaching and supporting France is our number one priority at Raison!
Therefore, we hope the French team will take us as far as possible and we would be glad to share their matches with all our French and foreign friends in London. Raison d〙etre will be broadcasting all the French games (although not exclusively :) ), and special offers will be made on our menu to accommodate the quality of the football.

We got chatting to one of the guys working here, who turned out to be the owner. A real charmer, full of cheer. He〙s a credit to himself, making everyone he greets feel most welcome.

The food and drinks that we had (a late lunch and a quick breakfast) were excellent and good value.

If you are in South Ken, go here, and avoid the big chains on the main streets.

Throughly enjoyed this little cafe around the corner from where we were staying on a recent visit to London. The staff were very friendly, the food was great, and the coffee was excellent!

Stopped here yesturday morning for an early lunch. The Staff were really welcoming and friendly. My partner and I had the pesto chicken, avocado and rocket toasted focaccia sandwich and it was soooooooooooo tasty, due to the fact I couldn't finish it all so had to take it away as I couldn't see it go in the bin. The coffees were also really nice, and they had just baked fresh chocolate croissants which I couldn't resist and were truly delicious. Perfect job guys, will definitely be back very soon. ޟ‘ÞŸ£

Nice place, but what really stood out was the guy who helped me was super enthusiastic about the fact I was in the fire and rescue service and offered good tourist advice particular to my interests and offered me a surprise discount. If anyone who helps you is half as cool, you're in for a fine experience.

Lovely french staff great tasty sandwiches and lovely latte. Worth the walk from the touristy places near the tube station.

I've been here twice now and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area! The food was great and very fresh, the coffee was brilliant and the owner Matt is extremely welcoming to everyone. Will be back again soon!

I loved this place on Friday lunchtime: relaxed setting, extremely friendly service and tasty food which is very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the rosûˋ and coffee too! We wil be back when we next visit South Kensington and I strongly recommend you try this place out - you will love it too am sure! Merci!

I am very glad that I found this place on the tripadvisor. We travel a lot, but have never got to such a great one. Very tasty sandwiches and just an super friendly atmosphere! This is the best choice of a place for breakfast, which I have ever done! I want to say a big THANK YOU for making a positive mood for the whole day! It was because of you that this trip was one of the best in my life! Next time in London we'll have breakfast only with you!!

Hot chocolate with Oreos and Chantilly cream was simply scrumptious. Sandwich was lovely too. Would be tempted to go back for breakfast!

Delicious sandwiches

Crispy almond croissant and tasty New Yorker sandwich. Decent dining environment! Staff are kind also. Highly recommended ÿ¢§

Absolutely superb. Stopped by for a grilled chicken, avocado, and bacon sandwich and was blown away by how good it was. The owner is incredibly genuine and polite, I highly recommend it.

A courteous hello, or bonjour ,as you arrive is the beginning of an experience that will have your senses believe you are in a small bit of France.



Steamed coffees perfectly made, unique hand pressed juices, baguettes, paninies and focaccia stuffed with various cured meats, cheeses and hand selected vegetables.

If we lived in London/Kensington our daily morning ritual would be to visit here and then start our day.
