Wow I was a guest at a wedding on 21st of December, was amazing the room looked amazing the best I’ve ever seen a room look, the food was fab could not fault it one bit. The staff was so helpful what a perfect night I had.

User

We had the most amazing lunch and afternoon with great staff and nothing too much trouble we will return

User

We had our wedding at the hotel in October 2017.

And I can't praise the staff enough each and everyone of them.

Laura and Becky made our day run smoothly with no disappointments at all.

Food was wonderful staff very helpful.

We will be returning October 2018 for our first weddings anniversary party.

Everyone has their own experience I know but ours was wonderful

Thank.you to.you all xc

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea for my daughters 4th bday. 2 lady waiters served us (can’t remember their names 🙈) they made us feel so welcome and made my daughters little outing so special. They even brought her out a lil cake with a candle on 😍 thank you xxxxxx

The food was excellent the staff attentive cannot fault it!

My friends and myself meet up every month and eat at different places from Stratford Upon Avon, Birmingham City Centre. Have to say a very pleasant meal indeed!

User

Excellent service, very friendly staff. When a leak from the room above came into

ours , they moved us straight away- at 10.30 pm. We will be staying there again the next time we are at the NEC! Oh and the Indian restaurant attached is amazing!

After our marriage at Solihull registry office we had our little get together at Ramada. The staff looked after us fantastically well. The food and the service was superb and we couldn't have imagined better. Would recommend Ramada Solihull to anyone looking for quality service, great food at very respectable prices. The overnight stay was also excellent, with very comfortable rooms again at an excellent price. Fabulous

It's a lovely place beds are like board but people were nice I got more teabags when I asked for them all I suggest is the door cards are a absolute joke they need fixing 3 times ours wouldn't work and had to keep going down stairs to tell them but other than that it's fine

User

Staff friendly and very helpful. Hotel could do with a revamp. Attention to detail was poor although sorted out quickly when you spoke to someone

User

Lovely quaint historic hotel with lovely friendly welcoming staff. It was our works festive 3 course meal but how disappointing!!!

Soup just bout covered the base of the bowel, main course tiny and carrots over cooked. 2 potatoes, well they were supposed to be roasted. Minuscule meal overall. The pudding was the best part.

The reason I have given a 3 star is that the staff are a credit to the hotel, very friendly and excellent service. £30 for the food we received was extremely disappointing. First time I have been to the hotel but food disappointing!!!

Looking a little tired. Good, secure, free to residents parking. Renovations under way. Staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Restaurant service a little slow and not really attentive enough. Food is reasonable, uninspiring, but well cooked. Buffet breakfast very good! Beer ok, Boddingtons, served in a Boddingtons glass. Rooms comfortable, but hot (no air-con). Bed comfortable, but VERY soft pillows. Shower (over bath) nice and powerful with good flow. Good sized tv with plenty of channel choice. Tea/coffee making, biscuits and water complimentary in the room. Good iron, ironing board & hair dryer provided. No full-length mirror. Bathroom mirror not heated, so mists up when showering. Free WiFi, good speed. Acceptable (business use) convenient location for my work, NEC Airport and Motorcycle Museum.

Does what it says on the tin but no more. Clean and tidy room and reception staff were friendly. However bar is a bit dingy and with only one staff member serving and running back and forth to the kitchen be prepared to wait even if there are only a handful of other punters. Food was ok but a little steep compared to others I've stayed in nearby.

What a change in a couple of weeks. Returning after a few weeks working and had re booked because of the good service that I had before. Checked in today and settled into my room hoping for a couple of days rest before returning to Spain. My daughter came to visit and go for a meal with me. I asked at reception if she could park her car in the car park only to get a very short answer we charge £6 as soon as you drive in if you’re not a hotel guest. So £6 an hour then! Just got to the bar, half the draft beer has run out choice of whiskey is poor just supermarket stuff, glasses pilled high on the bar and staff that are happy to serve drinks in any type of glasses regardless of what you are drinking.... should have gone to premier inn

User

Stayed in an 'Executive Suite' but don't think my idea of that is the same as theirs. Spacious enough but very drab and dated. Toilet didn't flush properly, light fitting above dressing table not working and covered in masking tape.

Breakfast was very poor and not worth the money. Had to ask for a clean cup for my tea.

Got a drink from the bar (after waiting ages for someone to come and serve) but they'd run out of ice and didn't even apologise for it!

Rest of staff were lovely and would recommend the Indian restaurant on site.

Overall thought it was overpriced and would definitely not stop here again.

User

Stayed here on a few occasions, downside is noisy corridors and if placed in a room above front reception intolerable noise. Very highly priced bar. Food is tasty although portion sizes small. Some staff very helpful, while others clearly not interested . Onsite complaints ignored and completely uninterested in handling the issues in a way that would make things better. Won't be back and making sure my company takes these matters further.

Me and my now husband had our wedding here on Friday the 29th September. Wedding organisation???? Not sure the ramada understand the meaning. We was basically left to it. Not enough food for our afternoon tea. Everything ran late so our guests was let standing in corridors. I had to give out our welcome drinks. 4 staff just stood watching. No bar staff. No one to meet the groom when he arrived. No one to see is out after the ceremony. Red carpet and accident waiting to happen it all buckered up. Must say our dj was brilliant. And the two 18 year old lads who our wedding planner left is with were lovely just unexperenced. When we asked the wedding planner the next day where we're you. She couldn't answer and said that I thought you were fine I left you with Owen (the 18 year old) he has been doing this for 2 months now!!!!!

I will be fair and say our town house room was nice and breakfast was nice.

I wouldn't recommend booking your wedding here which is a shame because the room is lovely. There is more I could complain about but I have give you idea of what to expect if any one else books the ramada.

User

Great location, friendly and helpful front of house staff, but the room was a dump - peeling wallpaper, chipped furniture, mold on bathroom ceiling. Really needs some work. I had to move the desk to plug in my laptop and there was a load of rubbish underneath that had obviously missed the bin over the months. Ramada used to be seen as a top end hotel brand, but this place is two stars at best. Some repairs and maintenance and improved cleaning and it good be a four.

User

Went here for a evening wedding reception . asked two staff in suits where we could find the reception room was , they just looked blank at us !! And then finally took us to room . Waited 20 mins to order a drink as one staff member on . The drinks were so expensive it was a joke . The buffet wasn't the best either , the whole place need painting and bringing up to date

User

Rooms were old and dated .... a double was two single beds pushed together with a double sheet so it looked like a double mattress, tiles in the bathroom on the floor were broken and the ones on the wall were black with mold. Toilet roll holder came off the wall in my hand and the room had a musky smell too it. The bar was understaffed and we had to wait 25 mins to get served and when we did their was one lad on his own on his first shift ......& then £10.70 for 1 pint bud and 1 pint Stella. Now I’m no snob but if I had the choice between the Ramada and a YMCA ....... I’d choose the YMCA - Ramada Solihull is not at all what i would choose and would only recommend it if you were in the updated rooms ....... very very disappointed
