About Ramsbottom Station
Ramsbottom Station opened on 25th Sept 1846 and closed to passengers 5th June 1972. It was reopened again on 25th July 1987 by the East Lancashire Railway.

The final stage of the βTour of Britainβ cycle race will be passing through Ramsbottom, and over the level crossing passing the station!

Our Summer Diesel Spectacular Event begins today! (Thursday 4th - Saturday 6th)

The end of a lovely Summerβs day at Ramsbottom, big thanks to all our passengers and staff for putting on an efficient day. Alongside our service trains we have had a wedding, a charter train and evacuees around the railway today!... Hereβs a lovely pic of our station team from this evening πΈ
