The Saturday Soho ride saw a group of 13 riders cruise out on an 80km Kent loop. As you can see the sun was shining and the morale was high. "We had a great ride with a lovely group. It was an added bonus that the weather was lush and we only suffered one puncture." - Our ride leader Cory MacLennan's reflections on the day.
This ride is open to all so please join us this Saturday: http://bit.ly/SohoRide

We are delighted to announce that RCC member, Matt Doman, has designed this beautiful commemorative jersey for our annual fundraiser for Ambitious about Autism. This year, any participant of London to Manchester reaching the fundraising target (£750) before 30th July, will receive this special edition jersey complementarily. http://bit.ly/L2M2019
A quote from Matt Doman on the design:
I feel very honoured to have been asked to design this six-year celebration jersey.
... This will be my fourth ride between these two great cities with Rapha and Ambitious about Autism. Each time I ride with my Nephew Woody firmly in my thoughts. Both brilliant and challenging at the same time, just like London to Manchester will be this year.
Designed exclusively using Rapha's custom tool, the jersey uses Old English White as its base colour, the sleeves, one red and one blue represent the north and the south respectively with a subtle N and S detail. Rapha, Ambitious About Autism and the ride logo on the rear are joined by distance markers on each pocket 220 miles and 350 kilometres. A reminder to past and present riders of this very special challenge.
I look forward to lining up alongside you all for Le Grand Depart at midnight on the 31st August 2019. http://bit.ly/L2M2019

Last week, RCC members Freddie Simmonds, Tim Mcinnes and Chris Moultan, took a break from Thursday Hills to ride from Pisa-to-Pisa, taking in the Tuscany Trail, completing a bike packing adventure totaling 830km with 10,600m of climbing.
The final climb, which topped out at 375m, involved a gruesome 900m of climbing across the 28km ascent/descent and some of the toughest terrain and steepest gradients they had ever seen, all whilst carrying some 12kg of bikepacking gear – C...hapeau!
Here's more of their bike packing stat: - 500 mosquito bites - 75 bags of haribo - 60 shots of espresso - 35 pizzas - 3 hammocks - 2 punctures - 1 wild boar camp invasion - 1 screaming deer wake up call* - 1 fly camping in Chris’s ear - too many renditions of Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” by Freddie
