Established in County Cork, Ireland by Edmond Kelleher back in the late 1980's, the business quickly became the leading provider throughout Ireland, trading under the Atec IT brand. This expanded to supporting Irish business with overseas operations, globally, but particularly within the UK

As a result of the Celtic Tiger boom, UK operations continued to grow and in circa 2005 led to Edmond Kelleher liaising with Sean Lynch, to establish a formal business in Manchester, UK.

The company provides Support Contracts typically to businesses with 5 up to 250 users, though larger contract of up to 500 users are in place and some clients have multiple site location
