You can’t fit hair extensions if you’re not a hairdresser! Right? Wrong!!!! ❌
Time and time again I hear little digs from hairdressers how you shouldn’t be allowed to fit extensions if you’re not a trained hairdresser.
... Well guess what? I’m not a hairdresser. I’m also not trying to give you full head of highlights.
I wouldn’t have a clue where to start so I’ll leave that to the professionals.
It works both ways and not all hairdressers can blend extensions.
Now, I know for a fact that you wouldn’t want me to cut your own hair. I tried to cut my sons hair once and it was horrendous, but I’ve been blending extensions for 6 years now and it’s a completely different skill. In fact the more uneven the better... maybe that’s why I can do it.

My beautiful new client stepped off the plane from holiday, went to a have hair appointment with her mum at the incredible @ali040179 decided she wanted to hair extensions, was sent here, couldn’t find me. Went to the beautiful salon at @so_lovely_hair_and_beauty where the builders in there helped direct her to me!
Luckily it all worked out and just a short while after we were able to fit this beautiful @angelremyhairextension weft. 150g I’m ashy 18/22 20” over 2 rows. 🔥💕✈️🥰

Extensions aren’t just to have hair you can sit on and more thickness than you can fit in a scrunchie! - My new client hadn’t worn extensions before so we’ve started off with just 50g of the shortest length and we’re hoping to build up over time. - It looks incredibly natural and no one will know it’s not real.... 🔥

Is #throwbackthursday still a thing?
Well if it’s not, I don’t care, I’m throwing back anyway.
This is my beautiful friend @ladyamielouiseemblen4 who was my first ever client. She trusted me to fit micro rings on her hair more than 6 years ago.
... To this day training in hair extensions is still the best decision I ever made.
I’m forever thankful that I met @hairandbeautytrainer and for her amazing training. The confidence that Jan gave me to go forward and continue with extensions is priceless.
Today I got the chance to sit down with Jan and tell her my exciting new plans and hear about how things are progressing so well for her too.
What I’ve learnt the most over the last 6 years is that gratitude and kindness and incredible commodities and if you don’t have either then you’ll be a miserable hater. Much like that meme with the lady and the screwed up face. (That whole sentence doesn’t make sense but I’ll add a reference to my story)
I’ve been working on my gratitude the past few months and although it sounds all hippy dippy, it really does give you a nice feeling to just look at what you HAVE achieved and accomplished rather than forever judging and comparing against what you haven’t yet achieved.
