When my client first came to me her hair was very brittle and extra fine...i have been using the tape in extension method as this is what i feel is the safest for this type of hair. I also kept it short as i did not want any heavy weight creating tension on her already brittle hair. Doing this has allowed the hair to grow and she actually now has 2 hair lengths, one which is the longest parts and one which is the new hair growing through thats thickening it too. Now next tim...e instead of maintenance we can have a fresh set of hair and have it longer ☺️ Hair extensions do not damage hair if they are fit correctly, maintained by the client, and the correct method is used for your hair type 🙌🏼🥰 On the last picture you can see growth and thickness from just the last maintenance...she can now have a fringe its grown out that much! ❤️

Getting my maintenance hair extensions all clean and fresh to be re-taped and put back in...the Sway Haircare range is brilliant for keeping your extensions beautiful and soft girls! Sulphate and Paraben free...infused with moroccan & argon oil to keep that moisture. Also hair mask and oil available. If you want your extensions to last then aftercare and home maintenance is key. Remember to brush gently with a soft bristle or extension brush...and keep that oil through every time you style with heat 🙌🏼

Another maintenance growth! My mother in law has very very fine and whispy hair that she struggles to do anything with...so i applied tape extensions a few months ago and just look at the difference!! Left is her normal hair how it was..and the right is today with a fresh colour ready for her extensions to go back in. Just look at the thickness and growth!! 🙌🏼

Absolutely stunning set of tape extensions done today. My client brought her own hair for me to fit which was lovely thick brazillian hair. Evenly distributed and look at that perfect blend. I even added in the picture where the wind blew so you can see no visible extensions...who would even know?! Gutted i forgot my before picture 🤦🏼‍♀️ but it was a grown out blunt bob style! Gorgeous 😍😍

Sometimes its for thickness....sometimes its for extra length...and sometimes its for both! Whatever the reason, there is definitely one thing that extensions do for everyone! And that is it gives you confidence! I still see many clients that come to me that have heard horror stories about extensions and think certain methods can damage your hair! ... Let me tell you, there are 3 reasons as to why people have had bad experiences and 3 only!!! 1. The chosen method is not the right one for your hair type! 2. The hair extensions have not been fit correctly! 3. You...the client have not maintained your extensions correctly! Now if you have an experienced hair extensionist that cares about your hair they should be offering the correct method for you or turning you away if its not something they offer. Even if you have the correct method, they still can be fit incorrectly...causing tension/uncomfortable. If you have had the correct method and they have been fit correctly then you may not be keeping up to the maintenance for eg...following the proper aftercare instructions (which should ALWAYS be given to you by your stylist) and making sure you use enhancing products to keep your hair extensions in good health. It’s unfortunate that of recent i have had a few clients come to me upset with the service they have received and it seems that stylists are all too quick to take some ones money without caring that they are actually damaging the clients hair! I won’t fit extensions if i do not feel they are exactly right for you and until we have undergone a consultation for first time clients. It is a MUST that consultations are held for me to go through everything there is to know and make sure that you know exactly what is going in your hair and why the chosen method. Education is not just for the stylist, but the client too. After all you are paying alot of money for a service that should be making you feel amazing....not disappointed! ❤️

I just love making people feel amazing...i’m lucky to be able to do what i love as my job! I take pride in my work now, but it wasn’t that easy for me to get here! You see i struggle with anxiety, which sometimes stops me from doing normal things in life and makes me believe that i’m not really good at anything! I qualified nearly a year ago now in all methods of hair extensions so that i could offer something for e...verybody. And i was so nervous to take my first few clients.....i actually cancelled a few times with people in the beginning due to my anxiety just taking over and making me doubt myself. I look now at myself and i can’t believe how far i have come...doing hair has helped me so much i still feel overwhelmed sometimes at how far I have come through it. I work from home because thats the only place i feel i can truly be myself and the most comfortable right now with hair! So i was scared that i would struggle to build a healthy clientele without being salon based. But here i am with the most amazing clients who alot of are regulars with me now 🥰 And honestly i thank you all every client i have had and the new...because you don’t realise but you have all helped me so much! I appreciate every one who chooses to come to me and i hope there are many many more of you to come.! If anyone is struggling or think that they will fail....just keep going, because you’re always stronger than you think. Hair is my escape and i can’t wait to keep improving and grow even more ❤️
