Ravenglass Railway Museum

Preserving the historic collection of the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, from locomotives and rolling stock to small objects telling the story of the line

The museum opened in 1976 to protect and display the historic collections of the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. The museum is currently undergoing a comprehensive re-development with Heritage Lottery funding which includes the building of a new train-shed to double the museum's display space. Opening June 2017
