Raynor Dance Academy In Standish Description
Our family run dance studios are situated in Standish, near Wigan. We have two dance studios which have dance flooring and mirrors, creating the perfect environment to acquire new skills. We also have changing facilities and a waiting room for parents.
We hold dance classes in ballet, tap, modern and jazz styles for both free work and examinations. Free work classes are extremely fun and every two years we rehearse for a big performance which gives the children chance to perform in front of an audience. We also like to motivate our students to improve their skills further in our examination classes. These classes improve virtuosity, performance, discipline, creativity and confidence and can go towards university applications.
Our teachers Miss Claire, Miss Katie and Miss Susan all grew up with a love of dance and so did I. We strive to make our classes as fun and exciting as possible so that our students can't wait to come back week after week.
We cater for all ages and abilities, so whether you're looking to enrol your child or you're an adult who would like to start up a new hobby, please don't hesitate to get in contact.
We really do like to think we have a lovely relaxed atmosphere at the academy.

Important message for Miss Katie’s 3.45pm jazz class and 3.00pm Saturday free work classes. Please can Miss Katie’s 3.00pm Saturday class please join with the prefects tomorrow for jazz at 3.00 and then free work class at 3.45-5.00pm. If there is anyone who isn’t on here please can we do our best to spread the word so everyone knows! The 3.45 jazz class will join with prefects jazz class at 3.00pm so your finish time will be earlier. Please help us to spread the word and if you are concerned that anyone might not have seen this, please let us know. P.s. it’s ballet week ☺️👍
