Readanora Ragdolls

Now and then something remarkable happens that makes everything you do worthwhile. As some know I also breed Pixiedolls a cross between Ragdolls and Pixiebob They are very special and this particular little girl, apart from being a beloved family pet, is comforting a 90 year old lady who is suffering from terminal cancer. The paw and fingers lightly touching was a very emotional sight for me. These lovely creatures can give so much and take so little.... For some people, especially the elderly they can be the difference between comfort and loneliness. That little paw touch can give great strength. Thank you for allowing me to use this photo. The lady in the picture has a loving caring family but so many do not. Animal therapy is a wonderful thing.

Beautiful Hurrem Sultan’s Kittens ready now

I haven't posted in a while...been too busy with kittens etc. I have also been working on another page in connection with this one and hopefully it will be ready to publish soon. Had some wonderful kittens this year thanks to our dear new stud Everest. Also my Pixiedoll programme is well on its way. I have decided to stay away from groups on Facebook... too many sociopathic control freaks around. The thought police are out in force and as anyone who has met me knows, I am a ...straight talking no nonsense person and the only fluff you'll get from me comes off the sofa ! No offense meant but my goodness some people need to get real. My catio outside the back door with the catflap installed is a roaring success. I am sure it makes life enjoyable for all the kitties to go outside and watch the chickens and dogs. Also it makes life a lot easier with the big litter box outside and they seem to prefer it there. Boris our wonderful polydactyl Pixiedol is now 7 months old. He is going for the snip on Monday so he will be nut-free :) unfortunately he will still be a nutcase! He is going to be a really big cat but I cannot keep another full male so he is just going to be my big friend. He is a great head butter but you don't want to get too friendly or tickly...he has extra claws! and very big paws. Looking forward to a bit of a rest before the next batch of kittens. All cats looking very well and healthy on their home cooked and raw food diets and my food bills have halved since 18 months ago. Only poor old Mummy Cat looks a wreck after rolling in Burdock pods and getting covered in hooked seeds impossible to remove. She had to be shaved. At 16 years old that does not look good on her. I cant wait until next year when we will hopefully have some second generation Pixiedolls that I am hoping will have the appearance of little Snow Leopards with all the cuddly nature of Ragdolls. XXX

Some of our 2017 kittens

I posted this in a group on Facebook about an hour ago. I made it quite clear it was as a celebration of our lovely Ragdoll cat breed. The heading was something like this... Glamorous Kittens, Good with Kids, Crazy nutcases.. who wouldnt want a fabulous Ragdoll.. even an accidental cross breed ? I added that it was in no way an advertisement. One of the pictures is 22 years old and the others are all over 3 years old,... It is a site where many people ask questions about the breed and it was meant to be helpful. Firstly my post just dissapeared without explanation. Then I posted it again hoping it wasnt duplicated. Then I was attacked by a member for no reason telling me it was an advertisement for kittens and kitten pictures were not allowed .? Then I am unceremoniously removed with no explaination and all my many posts and pictures totally wiped out. The site is run by show breeders who are always placing kitten pictures and thinly veiled adverts... I will never get involved in a group again...it was so hurtful, I have sever arthritis and have difficulty seeing stuff sometimes so to write and to post pictures takes a long time for me. I dont even put blatent ads on my own page for goodness sake! I have answered so many poignent questions on that group and many people have thanked me. Never again...some people on Facebook are extremely up themselves!

Just taken delivery of new type of cat food. I have been cooking homecooked food for my cats for a week now....they have all been very calm and happy...hope this will make a nice addition to their new diets.
