My name is Rebecca and I am a qualified counsellor offering confidential and non-judgmental face-to-face sessions for individuals who need assistance in faciliating change in lives.

I am a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and adhere to the BACP Ethical framework: www. bacp. co. uk /ethical_framework.

My own personal experiences have enabled me to relate to clients on both a professional and personal level, which allows me provide support in a genuine and empathetic manner.

There is no one particular counselling approach that I base my practice on. I adapt my work to each individual, integrating different theoretical perspectives to suit the client. The approaches I integrate include the psychodynamic, humanistic and also CBT.

Rather than giving you the answers I can provide you with the tools so that you are well-equipped to overcome difficultiies that you may face yourself. I can help you to develop a new perspective on the world and of yourself in society. I have an impartial, non-judgmental attitude. My counselling work aims to help individuals cope with any challenges in their lives so that they can consider their thoughts and feelings in a different way. I aim to promote increased self-awareness and consciousness of thoughts and actions from a safe and confidential environment.

I offer up to an hour long free consulation to discuss what issues you would like to explore within any possible future sessions. Following this, face-to-face sessions are £30 for an hour. I also offer email counselling, to discuss either of these methods futher please feel free to contact me and we can make the relevant arrangements that suit you best.
