Very unpleasant. I bought a bike which broke down after one week. Both the front-wheel was bent so that it would rub hard against the frame and the chain constantly jumped out of place. It was dangerous. I had to pay for a taxi to transport me and the bike to bring it back because it was not ridable and they would not pick it up. I requested that they please repair it. After 2 hours I picked up the bike and took it for a test ride: The bike broke down after 20 meters. They gave it another shot. The bike broke again after 100 meters. I then asked for my money back, which they agreed to. However, although their already odd 'money-return waiting period' has long passed, I have not received the money. Upon inquiry I was told that the office would get in touch with me. Nothing happened. All in all: truly annoying, exhausting and utterly unpleasant. 0 Stars (google won't let me do that, so apparently it's 1 star).

Bought a cute bike here but quite quickly realised I'd actually like one with gears, so I took it back today to have it exchanged. The staff were incredibly helpful; Carla couldn't have been more helpful and took me through loads of bike options with huge patience and enthusiasm. I feel like I know so much more about bikes now. There are some gorgeous bikes here, especially racers, and really reasonable prices. There's an absolute no pressure policy here as well which I really like.

Disastrous puncture repair. Similar experience to many below. Got a puncture on the way home and Recycling was the closest store still open at about 6.45pm. The staff were rude but said they'd fix it for me. For £13 I would expect a new inner tube but quite clearly it was just a puncture repair. Not a problem if fixed, but seemingly wasn't as half a mile down the road it hadn't held. Went straight back and the man claimed I'd got a pinch puncture as my "tyres are too tight" to the wheel to fix the puncture easily (it had taken him 20minutes at least). Take two held out for about a mile. By this point I really didn't want to go back so just left it, and went to a different bike shop the next morning (Balfe's Bikes Workshop Kennington - WOULD recommend!), who said they hadn't even taken out the glass and the puncture repair was shoddy. Whilst looking around saw that the bikes for sale massively overpriced for what they are. Won't be going back - don't ignore the bad reviews here!

Don't know about anyone else but my experience was extremely pleasant. Very good quality reconditioned bikes and a fraction of the price. I got a nice little fixie for £115 and the customer service was excellent. I would recommend to everyone.

I popped in on the way home as I had a puncture. Fixed quickly and is still holding up well. Only annoying thing is that the cap over the valve wasn't put back on after it was pumped up. Otherwise very good experience and would go back.

I've been in here a few times over the years. I no longer live in the area however, I'll take the trip across town because they have been consistently helpful and good value which is a very hard find amongst bike shops in London. thoroughly recommend! Thanks 🙏

Took in my old bike for a part exchange on another. Loads of second hand bikes of all varieties to choose from. Staff members were helpful and informative and encouraged a test ride. Nice smooth transaction. Have a months free servicing if there are any problems. Couldn't ask for more!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Broke my bike lock key and went in here to seek advice. The girl with the septum piercing spent ages looking up the make of my bike lock and walked me through how to get a replacement key.

My experience with this store is an unpleasant one.
I tried to contact them by email for a better idea on the bike prices, but they did not answer.
I went to the the shop, and was amazed by how huge the prices are. 300£ for a used bike!?! I would rather buy a brand new bike for that money.

Went in with a puncture on the way home from work, the guys seemed nice enough and said they would fix it for me. After getting back on the bike, the puncture reappeared within 5 mins. So either they didn't actually change the inner tube, or they didn't check the tyre for the source of the puncture. Pretty basic stuff. So I was charged £15 for the privilege of walking home in the rain. I definitely won't be back anytime soon.

Avoid this shop like the plague, they are rip off merchants! I took my bike in to be fixed as the chain was loose and slipping on the cogs.

They guaranteed that they would replace the chain and cog cassette at a price that wouldn't break the bank so naturally I thought they would be better value than Evans that wanted 200 quid and decided to go with them as they gave an image that they are a 'whole earth/not for profit/friend of the local community type organisation', don't you believe it.......

a day after I drop my bike off, they gave me a cock and ball story about the delivery driver failing to show up with the parts but said they can still fit the same parts as luck would have it, they had some lying about they could use. it turned out that they just re-fitted worn out used parts of an old bike they had and since that time the problem has persisted and I now have to either buy a new bike or pay more to get it fixed properly, They also stole my front headlight and I suspect that a lot of the second hand bikes they have in there stock are stolen anyway.

I'm amazed they haven't been closed down.....they are a disgrace, avoid patronizing this business.
