What is the RED Award?
The RED Award is the Reading Experience and Development Award. It is exclusive to UoR students and enables students to make the most of the extra-curricular activities and experiences on offer outside of their academic programme.
This award requires students to do 35 core hours of core activity (paid work/ work experience/ internships/ additional volunteering), 10 hours of volunteering and 5 hours of Training & Development sessions - all of which will b...e recorded on your Activity Checklist.
After completing your 50 hours, students will attend a completion session in which they will learn how to reflect on their experience and development as well as learn the best way to include this in their CV.
