The team at Redhouse are fantastic. I have had my Daisy (Fiat500) for a year now, and have used Redhouse since getting her, and their service is simply second to none. Its refreshing to find such an honest and trustworthy garage, ran by a team that really knows their stuff.

Just had car serviced here, needed new brakes and tyres too, all fitted same day at a good price and I had a free loan car to use all day. Will recommend to others

Excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. We now use this garage regularly and have no plans to go anywhere else.

They were so kind and professional and got to us so quickly when we were stuck at the side of the M1. Our repair was fixed quickly and at a very good price. We would definitely recommend RHSS to others!

Such a relief to go to a garage and have a good experience. Thank you.

Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy garage who genuinely care about their customers and cars. I know nothing about cars so the breakdown was a daunting experience for me, luckily the friendly and informative guys kept me up to date with progress and costs.
My car was repaired the same day and cheaper than expected! Great guys! Thank you!!! :)

Absolutely terrible- Please avoid!!!! This garage saw that I was a woman with no knowledge about cars and took advantage of my situation and It's absolutely disgusting how some car garages speak to women differently to men.

My car had a check engine light and I phoned my breakdown cover who sent out a tow company - Red house service station, who diagnosed the issue to be the crankshaft sensor and recommended that I use their garage to get my car checked out, as Fiat would be a lot more expensive and they have a 4 day wait. So not knowing much about cars and panicking about wanting my car fixed ASAP, I agreed as the tow guy highly recommended them and they would 'look after me'. I was given a horrible 15 year old courtesy car which I felt so unsafe in (the gear stick was very flimsy and hard to get into gear and the brakes were very weak) and I had no idea where specific controls were as I wasn't shown. Luckily I was able to work from home in order to avoid driving the courtesy car, as I was hoping the repair on my car wouldn't take long. My husband drove the car and said the exact same thing so it wasn't just me.

The next day, I get a call saying that it is not the crankshaft sensor but the cam sensor and they need to order the part in. The next day I am told that it is not the cam sensor but the cam valve and this also needs to be ordered in the next day. The next day, I am told that the valve has not fixed the issue and they need more time to look into the issue. My mum then called up and was told it was something to do with the timing belt. Now it was starting to feel like the garage didn't really know what the issue was and were trying to saying anything, so I visited the garage with my mum to try and sort out what the actual issue was with my car. Turns out the timing belt had stretched and the part had to be ordered in (surprise surprise)

We asked how much the bill would be and asked if the manager would consider giving us a discount, he refused and there was nothing he could do initially but finally agreed to £20 off. I told him that I had been struggling with the courtesy car (which I had informed him about on the phone previously) and as a gesture of good will, could he do anything more. His attitude completely changed and he got very defensive, making me feel as though it was my fault and belittling me. Not once did he apologise about my experience with the courtesy car. He asked where the car is and I informed him that it's was at my work place in the car park, as I didn't feel safe driving it. He then went crazy and said that he couldn't give us the discount as he had to pay someone to get the car back (despite him having a tow company and the tow guy telling me that they could bring the courtesy car back, which the manager denied) after a while he finally agreed but not before I again tried to make my case. I had no choice but to agree to the final bill as I had already 'racked up' a bill, with them spending 3 days changing their mind about what was wrong. I left feeling so angry about how I had been treated and burst into tears.

The next day I got a call from the garage saying they will be picking up the courtesy car, the tow guy struggled to get the car into gear making a loud noise (when the gear doesn't go in right). Anyway when I went to pick the car up with my mum, my husband tagged along to see if it made any difference. As soon as the manager saw my husband, his whole demeanor changed and he was very polite when answering his questions.

I paid the bill and my mum stated how bad it was that his attitude was completely different when my husband was there compared to the day before and that we wouldn't be using his garage again. He again became very rude and stated that it's best that we don't come back! I told him how the tow guy struggled to put the courtesy car into gear and he basically called me a liar.

Please don't ever use this garage as they they overcharge, don't know what they are doing and have a manager who treats women like absolute rubbish!
