Sunday roast!! Absolutely bloody beautiful! Staff were so cheerful and happy to help us. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, even though the place was full. Couldn't say no to dessert and then rolled out the door happy to have found this gem. Really great prices and easy to locate �

Lovely cosy environment and excellent food. The main reason for this post was the exceptional service we received from our waiter peter. He couldn’t be more warm and welcoming and very attentive. His sense of humour was a bonus too. We had a brilliant evening and couldn’t fault a thing (well maybe the chocolate tart needed a little something to balance the sugar out ;)). Peter is an asset to the red kite and made a perfect evening even more so. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

I've been looking for a new place for breakfast for a while now, alot of places I've used in the past have now all changed to buffet style breakfasts, which I don't like. My husband suggested the red kite for today's breakfast. The service, the staff, the breakfast, the price were all outstanding, it's the best breakfast I have had in a very long time. Everything on the full English was cooked to perfection. It was piping hot, and the coffee was beautiful. This is now my favourite place for breakfast, please don't change to a buffet style.

Had a really lovely sunny Sunday afternoon at the Red Kite which is now my favourite pub mainly due to the rarity of it having a superb vegan menu in addition to the extensive ordinary one. Wow! That in itself is just brilliant for me.

The pub is gorgeous inside & the beer garden is large & private. We had our lunch outside today as it was so hot.

I had the vegan coconut & vegetable curry which was delicious & Beloved had beef Sunday dinner which he said was fab.

There’s a decent gin & tonic selection here as well- what more could we want?

I must also say how friendly the staff are... they look like they love what they do, they’re really jolly & they had a bit of banter with us which we loved.

We highly recommend this pub..... 5* in every way.

Had a beautiful meal here today for my daughters 18 th birthday. There was 5 of us in total. We had pate, garlic cheese mushrooms & calamari for starters which were fabulous. For mains we had the pork belly with additional stuff as on menu. Had rump steak meal & also had the larger steak as a sandwich meal. Two had apple pie & custard. Two of us 3 of us were too full for that. The meal was spot on delicious & exactly what you call a lovely meal. My daughter & her partner who is Australian have eaten at the top places all over the world. They were well satisfied & enjoyed it all. So that really does speak volumes. The staff were spot on lovely & the service was brill. All you want when you want something really nice to eat & all expectations for filled, no disappointments at all.Well done red kite will definitely come back again 😊👍

First visit, a birthday celebration. We were well looked after by our waiter Craig. Food and service was very good and would recommend a visit. We have already decided on a return visit for the next Family Birthday.

First time I've visited & it won't be the last. Had a fab meal. Portions were just the right size. Prompt service and friendly staff. My father-in-law declared it as one do the best meals out he's had in a long time!!

Excellent service and good food

Booked a small wake here for my Grandmas funeral. As it was small I was just expecting a few tables to be reserved but we were provided with a private area! Food all ready for us on arrival and plenty of space for us to go through family photos together.

The staff were all lovely and the buffet was perfect.

So pleased with the experience we plan to return to try the restaurant next time.

Been for tea this evening for my daughter's birthday the food was lovely as usual but the service wow! we were served by a lovely lady ( Laura I think her name was) made us feel very welcome had the biggest smile was really helpful and really made our evening best table service I've had in a long time

Vintage Inns are usually very nice venues with reasonably priced and good quality menus. I have found the Red Kite to be one of the best. Can’t say I have ever had a bad experience here.

I'd had a really awful experience at a different vintage inn but the staff and food at the red kite totally made up for it!

They could not have been kinder or more helpful and totally made the experience! Thanks for a wonderful evening �

The service was ok the presentation of the food poor, garlic mushrooms tasted nice but thervwas no sauce sonthey wer dry and there was ni butter for the dry bread and chicken pie was also dried up, hardly any sauce in that!!! should train the chef again!!!!

Complicated menu, poor quality food, pleasant enough staff who seem to do their best.

We've booked a table last night for nine people, 6pm. We got our drinks. Then got to the table. We're all looking forward to roast dinner. We were told by waitress, lamb, pie chicken, turkey and beef won't be on menu and they were ran out. Also it was my 30th birthday meal with family. I have to say it is really disappointing and a lets down.

Visited this evening, very poor customer service. Meals taken back as not how we had asked for them to be cooked! For the meals to then be returned, but not asked if everything was okay. Not so much as an apology or an offer of any discount to be taken off the bill. Will not be returning again after this!!

My wife is wheat intolerant and was offered the allergen menu. A menu that just points out what you can’t eat isn’t an “allergen menu” if you’re not offering and alternative! So basically she couldn’t eat anything. Unlike most big chain companies there wasn’t a specific menu with alternatives. Very poor, especially in this day and age.

Had great experiences in the past tonight not so much. Food was cold, over cooked Yorkshire’s and raw carrots. Service was poor too.
