Busy at weekend so need book but one of the best Sunday roasts around with a good weekday menus also.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. The presentation was also good but sadly let down by the lack of waiting staff waiting 30 minutes after our meal before I got up and chased down a member of staff. TAKE NOTE MANAGEMENT.

The food was well cooked but I left feeling hungry. Also has two menus. One if you have coupons and another if you don't. It made my Tesco deal not such a good deal after all. My main meal £15. with coupon. The same meal with starter and sweet and no coupon. £15 Hmm?

Summary: Nice venue and a good menu. Feels cosy and the staff are friendly. Menu good with a large-ish selection. Better than average pub grub. Long wait after ordering but was worth the wait.

Very fast service. Was told would be a 25 minute wait for food but was only 10. Only lost 1 star because the beef was a lot tougher then I would have expected and portion size a lot smalle than expected for the price charged. I'd go back but for a burger. Wouldn't have the roast again.

We have been here many times and have never had a bad meal. Service and food are excellent. Last visit had the brewers chicken and the apple and pear crumble for dessert.

Never had a bad meal here are service is always friendly. If you want a decent pub meal in a nice environment I would recommend.

Delicious food and attentive staff. Some of the drinks are a bit pricey (cocktails).
