Redbourn Rocks

Redbourn Rocks was set up by the local pre-school in order to share images of rocks made, hidden and found! Connecting our little village to other children

Redbourn Rocks continues to spread the creative happiness by painting rocks to hide around Redbourn or wherever you may travel to. The goal is to encourage creativity, exploring and community and follows in the footsteps of 'St Albans Rocks UK'! Join us and have some fun!

If you find an art rock, take a picture, share it with us here if you'd like and either keep it or re-hide the rock : -)

If you want your rock to be posted back here when it is found, our suggestions of what to write on the back are:

3. Post a pic to #RedbournRocks (fb logo). Keep or Re-hide me
4. Find us on Facebook, Redbourn Rocks. Post a pic. Keep or re-hide me.

*Please make sure your artwork is coated with a sealer and UK weatherproof! If you stick anything on your rocks, make sure it is stuck on super tight, and ideally put under the sealer coat. We don't want anything to fall off outside and mess up the environment. Check the pinned post for some paint /sealer suggestions.

*Hide your rocks on public land only. Private property is off limits.

*Any photo your post here can be shared and used by others unless specified in the photo description.

*Please always be a tidy explorer when you are out and about. Let's keep Redbourn beautiful. If you spot some litter, be a hero, pick it up and take it to the closest bin! It's brilliant to leave places nicer than you found them!

*Rocks reflect the opinions and attitudes of the individual artists, and not those of the admin. We cannot be held responsible for people being offended. . . or anything else for that matter.

*This is not a place to air out your personal issues. Any post that is not rock-related or in the positive spirit of Redbourn or that is starting to cause tension in the group will be deleted at the admins discretion. You can use your own timeline for that.

*Any posts attempting to create a rule will be deleted.

*Please do not hide other items with your rocks. If not picked up quickly, these may turn into litter. Plus food items may attract unwanted pests.

*Remember this is a public group. All content can be seen by anyone.
