And British Summer time begins! ☀️
It’s far from what we all imagined... We were hoping to bring you a revamped cafe and kids area, pop up street food events, fairs, parties, silent discos, yoga, gong bath, Happymess, Nature Sprouts and much more, all these things will will come and are something to look forward to!
... For now we are concentrating on our role as growers and are currently working hard to put the necessary protocols in place to allow us to continue growing with the aim of providing produce for our Community.
We will keep you updated as we go forward 💚

We are very sad to say we are going to cancel or postpone our Easter Holiday and weekly workshops and sessions until such time as we can run them. The Garden is scheduelled to open 7th April and we will keep you posted as to if this is possible as we could like to stay open to support our community. Once we reopen we have some fantastic things planned 💚 In the meantime we have some ideas about home delivery of garden plants, compost and veg supplies, online gardening quiz...we will be back with more soon

Morning! We know there’s a lot going on, but if you would like a distraction how about helping us think of a name for our new kids session which is planned to start fri mornings from mid May? It will be a mixture of forest school activities (without the forest) gardening and outdoor crafts. 🌱👩🏽‍🌾🐛🔍🖍 Get your creative worm juices flowing!

Welcome to our new Art in the Garden group, starting Tues 12th May 10.30-12.30. This is an art and wellbeing group where you can explore a variety of art-making techniques in the relaxing environment of the lovely Redcatch Community Garden. The aim of this group is to provide a sociable, supportive and creative experience for local people.
Each week we will share a technique such as monoprinting, charcoal drawing, oil pastel/watercolour resist and many more but if you would ...prefer to work on your own project that is fine too, just bring it along!
This group is free but we ask for donations towards materials if you can. Places are limited, to book please email start.artandwellbeing@gmail.com
Art in the Garden is run by stART - a collective of trainee art psychotherapists. Please see https://start-art-wellbeing.weebly.com/ for more info!

What a great community we are! Massive thank you to our UWE volunteers who together with our fantastic local volunteers have achieved so much over the past two days:
☕️Turned Roots café around to make a new entrance, making it easier to see all that's going on inside the Garden.
👷‍♂️⛏Dug trenches to plug and plumb in our Kitchen container (rehomed from the Bearpit) which will allow us to extend our café menu and shop take away range. We also plan community cooking and food e...vents.
🌻Improving our kids area to create a mini polytunnel and potting area.
🥕Creating more raised beds for growing more great veg
We are committed to keeping and making Knowle great and thank you all for your support! 💚
