Johnson Bros Tours/Redfern Travel are looking to recruit an entusiastic, independant and motivated Apprentice HGV/PSV Vehicle Technician.
Maintaining a mixed fleet of over 400 vehicles is no small task and we take pride in our excellent standards. You would be working at our depot based in Mansfield Woodhouse. You would undertake a 3 year block release apprenticeship. You will attend one of our Colleges which will mean spending 1/2 weeks a...way every 4/6 weeks, this will all be paid for as part of your qualification. This will enable you to qualify with Levels 1, 2 and 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintainence. You will also become a member of the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers) and we will help you to gain your PSV Driving License (subject to terms and conditions).
As we carry out all manner of repairs ourselves your learning possibilites will be endless.

Working on a National Express contract ,it runs out of our Mansfield Woodhouse depot working between Manchester and Stanstead airport. Working on a 4 week rota.
