About Redwing Coaches

Redwing Coaches is a private coach hire operator based in Herne Hill, London, with luxury, air-conditioned coaches available for hire.

Redwing Coaches Description

The company

With over twenty five years of success we have the people, the skills, the experience, the infrastructure, the vehicles and the financial resources to run our coach company exactly the way a coach company should be run.

For our customers this means top quality service in every respect, with comfort, safety and value for money our top priorities.

Our purpose-built headquarters in Herne Hill, South London, includes state of the art engineering facilities where we maintain our own vehicles to the highest standards.

All our experienced Sales and Management staff are based here too.

Situated just minutes from the centre of London, it's the perfect location, allowing our coaches quick and easy access to our clients across the city and beyond.

Our management team

Our management team is highly experienced. Many of our senior staff are experienced coach drivers, so they understand every aspect of the coach hire business from the ground up.

It's their skill and professionalism that has made Redwing Coaches the first choice for many thousands of clients, from household names and blue-chip corporations, to private individuals.

Our drivers

Redwing's large team of smart, professional drivers are the best in the business. It takes a special type of man or woman to be a successful coach driver. The technical challenge of driving and navigating a twelve metre vehicle on our increasingly busy roads is just part of the equation. People skills are equally important, and time and again clients call us after a booking with praise for their Redwing driver.

Managing the progress of a journey, whether it's a one day sightseeing excursion to the seaside or a two week tour of Europe, requires confident decision making and people handling skills, together with a positive, 'can do' attitude. Our drivers are proud to drive their Redwing coaches, and the end result is a top quality service for all our clients.

An agent for Redwing Coaches has been spotted at The Holiday Inn Worksop. Could there be a last minute addition to the fleet ? #transferdeadlineday

User

Just to let our followers know there will be no last minute deals done at Redwing Coaches on this transfer deadline day. We are very happy with our fleet and our superb team that not only drive them but maintain them and look after our wonderful customers.

Throwback Thursday A scene from our Herne Hill depot circa 2003/2004 when the fleet contained a fair number of Mercedes Benz Touros. There are no longer any Touros or Setras in the fleet, even the trees have gone. We thank Terry Torch for this photo.

hi,

ive been with redwing for 2 years now and can honestly say its a fantastic company to work for, great drivers and excellent management team.

thanks for making me apart of your team

User

Redwing has always been a professional company and I am quite sure that this is an isolated incident. Most certainly not representative of an excellent company .

User

Our club Ebbsfleet United used you again last season, whilst I cannot speak for the club or other members of The Fleet Trust,I for one cannot fault Redwing on anything, nice comfortable and safe journeys, friendly and competent Drivers and always getting to and from any given destination in good time. Its good to give credit when it's due.I look forward to more nice away trips next season. Many Thanks.

User

I've worked for Redwing for over 3 years and it's one of the best companies to work for, staff are friendly and management team are excellent. You can't blame the whole company for one person's ignorance.

Keep it up Redwing, proud to work for you guys.

User

I Would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself, USW snowsports and wasteland ski for the amazing driving and overall service of Neil and Kelvin this past week! Always friendly and nothing to much trouble for them. There a absolute credit to Redwing coaches and I hope I get the pleasure of having them as drivers for future wasteland trips.

User

Have used Redwing on a number of occasions and have found them not only professional but reliable and honest. The drivers have always been excellent professionals and will not hesitate to use them in the future

User

Great company. Unfair to slate them on here. One poor employee doesn’t mean they are a poor company. They have a great reputation and will be dealing with situation in a professional way, but I know they will be devastated! Standing with you Redwing.

User

Great company! Have used them for the last 20 years. Never had a problem with them. Great service, always on time, professional staff. Let's not tarnish the company because of one person.

User

Good morning all,

Im a redwing driver, some of the comments on here are just nonsense, action will be taken im pretty sure our company doesnt tolerate this sort of behaviour..you cant just demand a statement... investigation is needed to then take action...and for those with a tiny brain ill explain: you have a son/daughter he/she gets arrested do you blame the parents for his/her action??? Blame the person responsible.

Redwing always aims for high standards.

Recently a london bus smashed through a couple of cars, do we stop/blame london transport???? Guys grow up!!!!

User

Excellent company worked for them for over five years now and everyone that’s bad mouthing Redwing need to delete there posts and reviews. As the company is not at fault it’s the individuals that was involved in yesterday’s incident that are to blame . Not Redwing

User

Brilliant company with brilliant service. A company that has very hardworking management and staff who are always kind and polite. Cannot blame one persons stupidity on a company. If a company was accountable for all their staff members actions there would be no companies in business. Very narrow minded comments.

User

Amazing how all these people can leave a poor review despite not having used the company and only read a headline, one bad apple and everyone wants blood. We've hired Redwing previously and their drivers & coaches have always been first class, running a fleet of that size with that many staff takes skill and determination. Long may it continue.

User

Let the investigation take place, before jumping to conclusions. There is now a legal process that needs to take place. Calm Down! - I'm sure they will take appropiate action, when it's necessary.

User

You can't blame a company for one stupid driver's actions. Let the investigation begin!

I have the highest respect for our emergency services. They do amazing job and deserve the highest respect and do not deserve to be abused!

User

Redwing Coaches. The company that likes to say "hey we're more important than paramedics that are trying to save lives". Disgusting behaviour by your coach driver, but even more disgusting behaviour from yourselves for not even commenting, not even "regretting it, looking into it, whatever". Big big shame on you.

User

In support of all Emergency Services workers, one of your employees engages in a deliberate and wilful act of violence against paramedics saving a woman's life. That behaviour is deplorable and not acceptable on any level. What do you do, duck under your desks and hope it just disappears, with that inaction, you may as well close your doors now, pathetic.

User

Everyone understands you can not be responsible for your employees actions however you are responsible every day for hundreds of people that use your coaches and your complete lack of engagement on this issue will do your firm harm for years to come. I suggest you use some of the £500k net profit you made last year to employ someone with a brain, I've seen bigger businesses go down the pan for doing less than this, no company is immune.

User

Disgusted by your driver’s behaviour towards Emergency Services and by your lack of even a hint of disapproval towards it. Investigations may be underway but if you wanted to find a way of showing you won’t tolerate it, you could.

User

Congratulations on your 'driver's absolutely disgraceful behaviour to a team of paramedics who were treating someone who had fallen ill and I hope the member of staff concerned is no longer employed by your company. Let's hope your staff don't ever need to call for an ambulance one day.
