About Redy2Go

Fully insured dog walking service and dog sports trainer. Offering group and 1-2-1 lessons

Redy2Go Description

Is your dog ready to go? I'm Rosie and my passion for the last 18 years has been my dogs and in particular competing in the exciting sport of dog agility. I have 5 rescue dogs of my own who are now all competing agility dogs and I have fostered dogs for rescue until they could go on to their forever homes. This has given me a wide range of experience in dog behaviour and training and now I am turning my passion and love for dogs into my job.

Safety is hugely important to me when walking your dogs; I have recently completed an accredited canine first aid course from www. dogfirstaid.com and I always carry a canine 1st aid kit whilst out on a walk. My van also has custom cages for the comfort and safety of your dogs.

I am currently able to offer group walks and individual training walks for dogs who need that extra bit of attention. When your dog is out on a walk with me fun and stimulation are key and they will be treated like loved members of my own canine family. I only ever use positive training methods with my dogs and am happy to work on basic obedience issues with your dogs. I am fully insured with Pet Plan Sanctuary.

Lazy Saturday afternoon.

The redy2go house dogs and I were out early for our walk to avoid dog walking rush hour! Walking with multiple dogs means I am used to social distancing on my walks anyway. Particularly important at this time. I hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Here's some more great ideas on how you can keep your dogs entertained if they are on reduced exercise.

Need to keep on top of your grooming? Not able to get to the groomer? Here is a video recommended by my friend Becky Shute of Woof & Go Dog Grooming to help you keep on top of your dog's grooming schedule. Also please obviously ask your own groomer for information specifically geared to your own dog.

Here's one idea to keep your dogs occupied. From the brilliant Abbey Dog Training. Please supervise your dogs though and as stated if they are going to consume a lot of paper or cardboard this game is probably not suitable for them, but other ideas to follow. I hope that you are all staying safe and following guidelines. Please feel free to post pics of your dogs doing canine enrichment during this time, I'll be doing some stuff with my own dogs later on. Best wishes, Rosie

I totally agree with everything said here, out on my walk this morning a gentleman had to retrieve his very lovely spaniel puppy from my slightly grumpy collie's behind. Even though I had her under control this still made me very uncomfortable as we are all meant to be social distancing. If your dog has a dodgy recall, please keep it on a lead or long line and take this as a training opportunity to then reward them coming back to you. Letting your dogs run up to other dogs or after wildlife is a no-no at the best of times and is very self-rewarding. Now is a great time to break that habit.

Sadly due to the new government guidelines I am no longer working, with immediate effect, for the foreseeable future. Please stay safe everyone. I will be posting ideas of how you can keep your dogs mentally stimulated during this lockdown period over the coming days and weeks. I would like to thank all my amazing clients for their understanding in this difficult time. I hope that everyone stays safe and well.
