Reform Barre & Pilates Description

Dena was first introduced to Pilates in 2004 at her local fitness studio. Seeing & feeling the benefits of regular Pilates, she decided that after 10 years as a trauma nurse it was time for a change in direction – to continue to improve peoples’ well-being, but in a preventative fashion as opposed to patching them up.

Dena followed through on her commitment and pursued her passion by becoming a qualified instructor, successfully completed with the highly regarded STOTT PILATES� discipline. STOTT PILATES� is known as the ‘professional’s choice’ in Pilates instructor training and education. STOTT PILATES� is Canadian, with its headquarters in Toronto, but with a global presence across 118 countries.

Dena’s teaching experience has been with a wide breadth of experience from beginners to those with more advanced capability. But regardless of level, Dena develops tailored & innovative individual programs to ensure that clients achieve their personal goals. Dena’s classes are varied, dynamic & challenging.

Dena has recently returned to UK from Australia, where she ran her own Pilates Studio, teaching a variety of Pilates based classes including mat Pilates with Props, Reformer, Prenatal Pilates & mums with bubs, as well as bootybarre�. Dena has also had a period living in the Middle East with her family. There, she worked at one of Saudi Arabia’s leading fitness studios where she was the lead Pilates instructor. The clientele at this studio included members of the Saudi Arabian Royal Family & members of the international diplomatic community.

Constantly keeping abreast of latest developments in her field, Dena came across the barre discipline. Fun, cardio, great results & with the discipline of Pilates as their foundation, barre classes bring another dimension to Dena’s workout programs. Dena is qualified as both an Xtend Barre� & bootybarre� instructor.
