Movement and wellness enthusiasts Dominique & Holly join forces to bring you Reframe the Movement, offering Pilates and mindfulness retreats /workshops.

Holly and Dominique bonded over their love of all things pilates, movement, meditation, wellness and of course wine. They met 6 years ago when Dominique was fresh out of her pilates training and Holly was in training. The journey from a much hated office job to full time teacher is one they shared, along with their passion for wellbeing and a balanced lifestyle. They experienced the awesome vibes of being brides to be at the same time and even got married 1 week apart.

Originally from Canada, Holly made to move to the big smoke of London in 2003. Her love affair with Pilates began in 1998, she had been practising ballet for nearly 15 years, had recently started working in the fitness industry and was looking for a form of exercise to compliment her dance training. She was immediately impressed with the changes she saw to her body and mind - she felt stronger, leaner, more flexible and her overall well-being was greatly improved. She was hooked! Eventually, she decided to take the plunge and turn her passion for Pilates into a career and trained to become a teacher in London. She continues to train and explore movement, flow, mindfulness and healthy living. Holly has a keen interest in the classical Pilates method, is passionate about promoting health, vitality and wellness through Pilates and believes that it truly is for everyone.

Dominique grew up in South Africa moving to England at the age of 18. With a background in professional athletics and a particular interest for anatomy and rehabilitation, she has been practicing Pilates for the past 15 years discovering the benefits of functional movement. She trained and worked in the UK, Europe and America gaining invaluable knowledge on biomechanics, anatomy, muscular and fascial releases, kinetics and conditioning. She is an international Pilates teacher and workshop presenter passionate about movement and wellbeing. Now based in Cape Town, she is very exited to return for the summer and lead this retreat with Holly.
